There is no valid MAHA TET 2026 admit card at the moment. The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune postponed the Teacher Eligibility Test due on 28 June 2026, and as of 27 October 2026 no new date has been announced. Admit cards for that sitting could be printed from mahatet.in from 16 to 28 June 2026. The council's timetable page on mahatet.in now shows the date and time of Paper I and Paper II as blank.

Why was the June 2026 MAHA TET postponed?

In its public notice of 27 June 2026, MSCE said Bhiwandi police raided a location early that morning on confidential information and found people holding questions that matched the TET June 2026 paper. A case was registered at Bhiwandi police station. The exam had been planned at 1,028 centres across Maharashtra, and the council postponed it because it wanted a thorough inquiry and a fully transparent exam. A second notice the same day said no new date had been fixed, told candidates to ignore social-media rumours, and said the date would be published on the council's website.

How do you download the MAHA TET admit card?

  • Portal: mahatet.in, which MSCE's MAHATET June 2026 FAQ names as the official website.
  • Login: the candidate portal uses the username and password created at registration. A "Forgot Username and Password" link recovers them.
  • Print: the admit card has to be downloaded and printed from the council's online application system. Without the printed original you will not be allowed into the exam.
  • Both papers: candidates registered for Paper I and Paper II get two admit cards, with a different seat number for each paper.
  • Right now, the "प्रवेशपत्र डाउनलोड करा" (download admit card) link on mahatet.in opens the 27 June postponement notice instead of an admit card.

The 2026 press note asks candidates to keep their email ID and mobile number working, because the council may contact them by email and SMS. For technical problems, the helpline is 9028472681, 9028472682 or 9028472683, Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

What are the exam-day rules?

MSCE issued these instructions on 22 June 2026 for the 28 June sitting:

  • Reporting: be at the centre at least one and a half hours before the exam starts, for frisking, identity checks and attendance. Nobody is let in after the set time.
  • Identity: bring one original of the following, with a clear photocopy: Aadhaar card, Election Commission ID, passport, PAN card or smart-card driving licence. A photocopy or colour Xerox alone is not accepted.
  • e-Aadhaar: accepted only as a clear colour print showing name, address, gender, photo, date of birth and the date the Aadhaar was generated or downloaded.
  • Allowed in the hall: the printed admit card, a black or blue ballpoint pen, your original ID and its photocopy, and a transparent water bottle. Pouches, bags, purses, notes, books and writing pads are banned.
  • Footwear: shoes and socks are not allowed in the classroom. Wear open footwear such as chappals, slippers or sandals.
  • Head and face coverings: women may wear a dupatta, odhani or burqa, but faces must stay clearly visible on live CCTV. Nothing may cover the ears, head or face during the exam.
  • Answer sheet: when the exam ends, hand the original OMR sheet to the supervisor and keep the carbon (third) copy.

Security checks in the November 2025 cycle, as stated by MSCE: hand-held metal detector frisking, biometric capture and face recognition matched against the application data. CCTV covered every classroom at 571 Paper I and 852 Paper II centres.
