There is no CISF AC (Exe) LDCE admit card to download at the moment: the 2026 cycle ended with the final result on 3 September 2026, and the 2027 examination has not yet been notified. UPSC's 2027 examination calendar lists the notification for 25 November 2026, the last date to apply as 15 December 2026 and the one-day written examination on 14 March 2027. The 2027 notice will fix when and where the e-Admit Card is issued.

How was the CISF AC LDCE 2026 e-Admit Card issued?

The CISF AC (Exe) LDCE 2026 notice said eligible candidates would get an e-Admit Card one week before the examination, to be downloaded from upsconline.nic.in, and that no admit card would be sent by post. Rule 11 of the Ministry of Home Affairs Rules adds that no paper e-Admit Card is issued and that a candidate is not admitted to the examination without a downloaded e-Admit Card.

Getting the card does not mean you are cleared. Applications are scrutinised for eligibility by the Central Industrial Security Force, and the notice states that the mere issue of an e-admission certificate does not imply that candidature has been finally accepted. In 2026 candidates had to route a hard copy of the online form through proper channel to the Director General, CISF, 13, CGO Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi, for verification and onward transmission to UPSC on or before 9 January 2026.

What the admit card means on exam day

  • The 2026 examination was held at New Delhi only.
  • In 2026, Paper I, General Ability and Intelligence and Professional Skill, was an objective paper of 150 questions in 2 hours 30 minutes. You must encode your Roll Number and Test Booklet Series (A, B, C or D) on the OMR sheet and fill in particulars as per the instructions sent with the Admission Certificate.
  • Paper II, Essay, Precis Writing and Comprehension, ran for two hours. The essay must be written in the medium (English or Hindi) authorised in the Admission Certificate and stated on the answer booklet; precis and comprehension are answered in English only.
  • Carry the photo ID whose details you gave while registering your Universal Registration Number (Aadhaar, Voter Card, PAN, Passport, Driving License or another government photo ID). The notice advises candidates to carry this ID to the examination.
  • Mobile phones (even switched off), pagers, pen drives, smart watches, cameras and Bluetooth devices are banned. Breaking this rule can lead to disqualification, debarment and criminal prosecution.

Call letters after the written stage

The written result press note of 13 April 2026 told qualified candidates that CISF, not UPSC, would intimate the date, time and venue of the Physical Standards, Physical Efficiency and Medical Standards Tests. Anyone on the list who receives no intimation should contact the CISF authorities immediately, and changes of address go to DG, CISF, Block No. 13, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Under the 2026 Rules the PET is qualifying, and failing any one event means disqualification. Men run 100 metres in 16 seconds and 800 metres in 3 minutes 45 seconds, long jump 3.5 metres and put a 7.26 kg shot 4.5 metres. Women run 100 metres in 18 seconds and 800 metres in 4 minutes 45 seconds and long jump 3.0 metres. Women must submit a self-declaration about pregnancy when reporting for PST/PET. Candidates found unfit in the Detailed Medical Examination must give consent for a Review Medical Examination within 24 hours. Those who pass go to the UPSC interview of 200 marks; in 2026 interviews ran from 17 to 19 August 2026.
