WB SLTST 2020-2021 Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates for WB SLTST 2021 based on the performance in TET Mains Examination. Aspirants can check the WB SLTST 2020-2021 Selection Procedure in detail below.
- First stage is TET/ Preliminary Test
- This stage is conducted for 150 marks.
- As per the notice, for the Group 1 post, candidates have to attempt the TET exam. For Group 2, 3, 4 & 5 posts, candidates have to take Prelims Test.
- applicants who have TET certificate can opt to appear for the main exam directly.
- Mains exam
- This stage consists of two steps – Written Examination and Weightage.

WBSSC SLTST 2020-2021 Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary Level in Schools
- Should have minimum educational qualification as prescribed by NCTE on the date of advertisement
- Candidates must have the specific subject of the medium of instruction of the school as a first or second or third language.
Assistant Teacher for class IX to X in School
- On the last date of application, candidate must have a minimum qualification as prescribed by NCTE.
- Also, they should have the working knowledge of medium of instruction as first or second or third language.
Assistant Teacher for class XI to XII in School
- They should also possess the minimum educational qualification as prescribed by NCTE.
- Moreover, the should have the specific subject of the medium of instruction first/ second/ third language.
Assistant Teacher for Physical Education in Upper Primary Level of Schools
- Must have the minimum educational qualification as prescribed by NCTE.
- Candidates who are willing to get selected for Teacher should also have the working knowledge of the medium of instructions. they must have studied the medium of instructions as first/ second/ third language.
Assistant Teacher for Work Education in Upper Primary Level of Schools
- Graduation degree from a recognized university.
- Also, possess Post Graduate Basic Training or Work Education as a subject in the Bachelor’s degree.

- Tailoring and needlework

- Home Science or Agriculture or Computer Science or Information Technology or Software Systems

WB SLTST 2020-2021 Application Form
Eligible candidates can submit their online applications only through westbengalssc.com. While applying, they have to submit a stamp size colour photograph with a scanned signature. Candidates also have to enter the details such as the educational qualification details, caste, category, age, email id, mobile number and other details.
