AP TET 2022: The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh conducts the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) to identify the eligible candidates who can teach the primary and upper primary level students of Andhra Pradesh. As per recent reports, AP TET 2022 exam shall take place in June 2022. The official notification for the AP TET 2022 is yet to be released on the official AP TET website aptet.apcfss.in. As per the NCTE guidelines, it is mandatory to pass the Teacher Eligibility Test to be a teacher for the primary and upper primary level students of Andhra Pradesh. AP TET comprises 2 papers. AP TET 2022 Syllabus
The DSE Andhra Pradesh designs the syllabus for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. The AP TET syllabus is designed in such a way as to test the basic skills and knowledge of the aspirants.

AP TET 2022 Exam Pattern
AP TET 2022 exam comprises 2 papers: paper1 and paper 2(A & B). Paper 1 is for the primary level teaching aspirants and paper 2 is for the upper primary level teaching aspirants. Candidates who wish to teach for both the sections have to clear paper1 and paper 2. Mentioned below are the details for the AP TET 2022 exam pattern:

APTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The DSE Andhra Pradesh has set minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the APTET exam. Candidates have to fulfill the criteria to be eligible for the APTET exam. Failing to do that the application status of the candidate will be invalidated. Mentioned below is the eligibility criteria for the APTET 2022 exam:
Educational qualifications for APTET paper 1
- 12th pass (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, 45% for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates. AND 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

- 12th pass (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks, 40% for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates. AND Diploma in Elementary Education / Bachelor of Elementary Education. (B.El.Ed.) / Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates, who have passed or been admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course before the issue of these guidelines.
Educational Qualifications For APTET Paper 2
- 50% marks in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., 45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates. AND B.Ed./ (B.Ed -Special Education).

- 50% marks in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. 40% for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates. AND B.Ed. / B.Ed. – (Special Education) in the case of the candidates, who have passed or been admitted to B.Ed., courses before the issue of these guidelines.

- 50% marks in B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed, in the case of SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidates, the minimum mark is 45%.

- Graduation with the concerned language as one of the Optional Subjects / Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) / Graduation in Literature / Post Graduation in Language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed. with concerned language as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
AP TET 2022 Application Form
The AP TET 2022 application form is released on the official website of the Directorate of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh cse.ap.gov.in. Aspirants have to meet the eligibility criteria put forward by the DSE Andhra Pradesh to apply for the exam. The application requires candidates to upload certain documents like their photo and signature while filling the form. The photo and signature have to be in the prescribed size and format mentioned in the guidelines of the AP TET. The last step of the application form is the payment of the fees. The previous time, the fees for the AP TET were RS 500/– per paper for all categories. This may or may not change this year.
AP TET 2022 Admit Card
Admit card for the AP TET 2022 is released by the Department of School Education Andhra Pradesh after the application date is over. It is released on the official AP TET website aptet.apcfss.in. Admit cards are released after proper scrutiny and checking of the application forms submitted by the candidates. Hall ticket is mandatory to appear for the exam, along with a valid ID proof, without which the candidate will not be allowed in the exam hall. The details of the exam center and time is provided on the AP TET admit card.
AP TET 2022 Answer Key
After the exam is done, the DSE Andhra Pradesh releases the answer key for the AP TET 2022. It is released shortly after the exam. Candidates can check the answers and verify them with their answers. Candidates can download the AP TET 2022 answer key from the official website of AP TET aptet.apcfss.in. Aspirants can calculate their marks and check whether they have passed the exam with the help of the answer key.
AP TET 2022 Result
After releasing the answer key, the DSE Andhra Pradesh releases the AP TET 2022 result. Candidates are notified if they passed the AP TET exam in the result itself. Candidates can check their results online on the official website aptet.apcfss.in. E-certificates will be awarded to the qualifying candidates through the official website. The AP TET certificate has recently been given lifetime validity by the DSE Andhra Pradesh.
AP TET Qualifying Marks
The DSE Andhra Pradesh has kept a minimum qualifying mark for the AP TET exams. Candidates securing the qualifying mark are considered qualified. Here are the details of the AP TET qualifying marks:

Ans : AP TET consists of two papers i.e, paper I and paper II (A,B). Paper I is for candidates intend to become teachers of classes I to V, and paper II is for those who wish to teach classes VI to VIII.
