Preliminary Exam:
In the Prelims, two papers will be conducted each of 200 marks thus totaling 400 marks and for every wrong answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted, the minimum qualifying marks of the prelims is 33% per paper and the type of questions will be objective in nature. The cutoff varies from category to category and year to year.
- Type of questions: Multiple Choice questions are asked.
- Medium of exam: Exam paper is set in English language.
- Duration of exam: Each paper lasts for 2 hours.

Mains Exam:
In the Mains, eight papers will be conducted with a total of 1750 marks consisting of questions descriptive in nature. Out of the nine papers, first 2 will be qualifying in nature. The next 7 papers will be considered to prepare the merit list. The paper will be held in bilingual language. Similar to the prelims, the cutoff varies yearly and category-wise.

How to Prepare Using APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Syllabus 2022?

About the Exam
The APPSC civil services examination is conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh every year to recruit a handful of meritorious candidates for the posts of different groups in the administrative body, to work in co-operation with the other administrative officers in the province to serve the society and provide safety, security and the upliftment of the society. The exam is conducted yearly in three stages for the recruitment of officers in the various groups as mentioned earlier. It is considered the toughest and equally anticipated examination in the province.
