APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam 2022: The Andhra Pradesh Civil Service Commission ( APPSC) is an administrative body that conducts the Andhra Pradesh Civil Services examination annually for the recruitment of competent candidates in the various posts of the administrative Services in the Public Service Commission across the state. The recruited candidates are then allocated to the various  Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, or Group 4 posts according to their merit. Candidates have to qualify for the prelims, mains and interview round to get selected against the advertised vacancies. An individual cannot submit multiple applications for Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination 2022 (APPSCCE). In the case of multiple applications, the Commission considers only the application with a higher RID (Registration ID). Also, the fee submitted for multiple applications is not refunded.

Eligibility Criteria for APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam 2022

Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria can be disqualified from the selection process at any stage. It is solely the responsibility of the applicants to ensure the fulfillment of prescribed eligibility.

Nationality: Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply.

Age Limit (as on last date of application submission): The age of the candidates must be between 21 and 32 years. Check the age relaxations provided to certain categories below.

Educational Qualifications: To be eligible for Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam, the candidates must possess a degree recognized by UGC or an equivalent qualification. The candidates who are appearing or have appeared and awaited the result in a degree examination are also eligible. Such candidates have to produce the proof of passing the degree examination at the time of interview.

Application Form for APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam 2022

The eligible candidates can apply for the examination online through the website of Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. Separate applications are required to be submitted for preliminary and main examination. Only those candidates who qualify the prelims can fill the mains application form. To submit the application form online, follow the procedure mentioned below.

Step 1-One Time Registration (OTR): The candidates need to register themselves on the APPSC’s website. For OTR, fill in all the required details and create a log-in password. Candidates once registered under OTR can apply for any post released by APPSC in future, without registering again.

Step 2-Fill Application Form: Login using user id (mobile number or email address) and password to access the dashboard. Click on “Apply” button against the desired post and fill the application form carefully. The information provided at the time of OTR is retrieved automatically.

Step 3-Payment of Application Fee: After submitting the required information in the online application form, pay the application fee using a prescribed mode of payment.

Step 4- Print out the filled-in APPSCCE application form.

Result of APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam 2022

APPSC publishes the result of Arunachal Pradesh Combined Competitive Examination on its official website, appsc.gov.in after the completion of each stage. The prelims result contains the roll numbers of the candidates shortlisted for the main examination. Main written exam result details the candidates selected for the interview. Final merit list and APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Result 2022 is prepared based on the performance in the main examination (written + interview). The candidates can download the result in pdf format. Marks obtained by the candidates are communicated to them individually.

Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam 2022 Admit Card

The admit card for the APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam is issued by APPSC on its official website. Browse the official website of APPSC to download the admit card for the state civil service exam. The Commission releases the admit card usually 3 weeks before the date of the examination. It can be downloaded from the candidate login portal using mobile number/email id and password. No applicant is going to receive the admit card for the exam through the post at his/her address. APPSC Arunachal Pradesh Civil Service Exam 2022 Selection Procedure

The selection of the suitable candidates is made in following 2 successive phases/stages:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Main Exam (Written and Interview)

Preliminary Exam: First and foremost, the applicants have to sit for a preliminary examination, comprising of 2 objective-type papers. Prelims is qualifying in nature and hold no weightage in the final merit list. Candidates must score a minimum of 33% marks in Paper 2 (CSAT) of prelims to move forward.

Main Exam (Written): Based on the prelims, shortlisted candidates, 12 times the number of vacancies, are invited for the main examination. There are 8 papers in the main written exam. The candidates need to secure at least 33% marks in each of these papers and 45% in aggregate to be called for the interview round.

Main Exam (Interview/Viva-voce): Candidates 3 times the number of vacant posts are invited to the interview stage. The interview process is held to assess the personality of the candidates and suitability for the job. Final selection is made on the basis of combined scores of main written exam and interview.

Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission

APPPSC (Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission) is a state government body responsible for recruitment to various civil service posts in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. It was established in the year 1988. The headquarters of the Commission is situated in the state capital, Itanagar. The primary role of APPSC is to conduct direct recruitment for various Group A and Group B (Gazetted) posts in the state. Along with recruitments, the Commission also advises the Arunachal Pradesh State Government on various matters. Currently, APPSC comprises of 5 members, including a Chairman.

Ans: 2 papers in main (written) exam are based on the optional subjects.

Q 3: How many candidates are invited to the main examination?

Ans: Candidates in the ratio of 12:1 corresponding to total no. of vacancies are invited for mains exam, i.e, candidates 12 times the number of vacancies are invited.

Q4: Are general category candidates eligible for age relaxation?

Ans: Ans : No, candidates belonging to general category are not eligible for age relaxation.
