SBI Clerk Admit Card 2026: Prelims Call Letter, Mains Next

The SBI Clerk 2026 Preliminary call letter (Advertisement CRPD/CR/2026-27/17) has been issued and its download window has closed: the link now reads "Call letter Download is over". The advertisement scheduled the Preliminary tentatively for September 2026 and the Main tentatively for November 2026; SBI's careers pages do not state the exact Preliminary dates. The Main call letter will be released only to candidates shortlisted in the Preliminary result, which had not been published as of 27 October 2026.

How do you download the SBI Clerk call letter?

From SBI's careers current-openings page, which links to the call-letter login. The advertisement says you enter your registration number and password or date of birth, and that the Preliminary call letter and the "Acquaint yourself booklet" are available tentatively from 10 days before the exam date. The Main call letter follows the same pattern: shortlisted candidates can download it tentatively from 10 days before the Main exam date. If you have a problem receiving your call letter, the helpdesk is 022-22820427 (11:00 AM to 05:00 PM on Bank working days), or you can lodge a query on cgrs.ibps.in.

Note that a separate recruitment, the Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST/OBC backlog vacancies (CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16), has its own Mains call letter link on the same page; it is not the regular Junior Associates exam.

What to check on the call letter

Your roll number, date of exam, reporting time and venue are printed on the call letter, and the booklet tells you to note them carefully. You applied for vacancies in one State/UT only, and your exam medium and local-language test depend on that State. No request for a change of examination centre, date or session is entertained.

What to carry and exam-day rules

• The call letter with your recent passport-size photograph affixed (the same as uploaded), 2 additional photographs, and an original photo ID with a photocopy. Without any of these you will not be permitted to appear. Keep at least 8 copies of the photograph for later stages.
• Accepted IDs include passport, Aadhaar, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter's Card, Bank Passbook with attested photograph, school or college ID, or a Gazetted Officer's certificate on letterhead.
• Glue for pasting photos and a blue ink stamp pad for your left thumb impression on the attendance sheets.
• Follow the reporting time printed on the call letter; late comers are not allowed. Your signature must tally with the one uploaded, and capital-letter signatures are not accepted.
• No calculator, cell phone, smartwatch, books or notes. The Bank may capture your thumb impression or IRIS for biometric verification, so do not apply mehandi, ink or chemicals on your hands.

The Preliminary call letter is not collected at the venue; it is stamped along with your ID copy. Keep both: you must bring them to the Main exam with the Main call letter. Scribe forms are collected at the Preliminary exam.
