The CRPD/PO/2026-27/09 advertisement provides no answer key or objection window, and SBI's results page lists none for the 2026 Preliminary (1 and 2 August 2026) or Main (12 September 2026). The CRPD/PO/2026-27/09 advertisement has no answer-key clause; it says only that the Preliminary, Main and Final results will be made available on the Bank's website. What SBI does release is your own marks, through a login page.
What SBI releases instead of an answer key
For 2026-27, SBI's results page lists the Preliminary result, a "Marks secured by the candidates in Preliminary examination" link and the Main result, but no key. The Preliminary marks page asks for your Roll Number or Registration Number and Date of Birth. In the 2025-26 cycle SBI also published a page of "Details of Marks Secured by the Candidate in Main examination & Interview". There is therefore no fee per question and no challenge procedure.
Marking scheme and how to estimate your score
For each wrong answer in the objective tests, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question is deducted; a question left blank costs nothing.
Preliminary (Phase-I): 100 marks, 1 hour
| Section | Questions | Time |
|---|---|---|
| English Language | 40 | 20 minutes |
| Quantitative Aptitude | 30 | 20 minutes |
| Reasoning Ability | 30 | 20 minutes |
There will be no sectional cut-off in the Preliminary examination. A category-wise merit list is drawn on aggregate marks, and about 10 times the vacancies in each category are shortlisted for the Main, so only your total matters at this stage.
Main (Phase-II): 200 objective + 30 descriptive
| Test | Questions | Marks | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reasoning & Computer Aptitude | 40 | 60 | 50 minutes |
| Data Analysis & Interpretation | 30 | 60 | 45 minutes |
| General Awareness / Economy / Banking Knowledge | 60 | 60 | 45 minutes |
| English Language | 40 | 20 | 40 minutes |
| Descriptive (3 questions) | 3 | 30 | 30 minutes |
The objective part totals 170 questions and 200 marks in 3 hours; with the descriptive paper the grand total is 230 marks. Unlike the Preliminary, the Main has a minimum qualifying score in each test, including the descriptive paper, and the cut-offs are decided by the Bank. Up to about 3 times the category-wise vacancies go to Phase-III, subject to a minimum aggregate.
How your marks are used after the exam
Preliminary marks are not added to the final merit list. The Main (230 marks) is converted to 75 and the group exercise and interview (50 marks) to 25, giving a final score out of 100. SBI also analyses responses for patterns of similarity and can cancel candidature if scores are not genuine.
