Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission (BPSSC ) was established in March 2016 via a bill passed in the Legislative Assembly of Bihar. It was established with the purpose of recruitment of Group C staff jobs under the government of Bihar. The commission consists of 4 members including a chairman. The chairman of the commission must be a DG or ADG rank officer in the police department.
