Bihar Police SI Result 2021 Compilation
The result merit list of the exam is prepared on the merit basis. The performance of the candidate in all the is evaluated for preparation of merit list. Following is the selection procedure of for result compilation:
- Preliminary Exam: It is a 2 hour online examination of 200 marks. There are 100 questions of 2 marks each in the question paper. 0.2 marks is deducted for every wrong answer. The candidate must score atleast 30% marks to qualify the exam. The candidates are shortlisted in a ratio of 1:20 in the exam.
- Main Exam: This exam consists of 2 paper of 100 questions each and each paper is of 2 hour duration. Every right answer is given 2 marks and for every wrong answer 0.2 marks is deducted. candidates must score at least 30% marks to qualify Paper-I.
- Physical Ability Test: The candidate must clear the physical criteria and physical endurance test to be considered for the final merit list.
Bihar Police SI Tie Breaking Rule 2021
Following is the procedure of tie-breaking for preliminary and main exam 2021:
- If two or more candidates get equal marks, then tie breaking is as per age. One who is older gets higher merit.
- If tie still exists, then merit determination is as per physical standards.
- If the tie still persists, then the resolution is as per alphabetical order of name in class 10th certificate.

About Bihar Police SI Recruitment
The recruitment for Sub-Inspector is done is 3 levels which are preliminary exam, main exam and physical eligibility test. The preliminary exam is a 2 hour long test of 200 marks. It has 100 MCQ type questions. The cnadidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible to appear in the main exam. The main exam is divided into 2 papers of 2 hours each.
