What is CTET 2021 Normalization
This year, CBSE has announced that it will adopt a normalisation process as the exam was conducted in multiple days. The December session of CTET 2021 was conducted from December 16, 2021 to 1January3, 2022 in multiple shifts. Therefore, the difficulty level of all the question papers may vary and evaluating every shift the same and keeping a uniform cut off will make it unjust. CBSE, therefore, ensures fairness by employing the normalization process.
The CTET normalization process takes into account the difficulty level of each question paper while also considering external factors like negative responses and cancellation of questions. This process makes sure that all the candidates are placed at deserving positions within the merit list and the evaluation is fair. At the moment, the CBSE exam board has not made the normalization formula available to the general public.

Central Teacher’s Eligibility Test or CTET exam is an annual exam that takes place nationwide by the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE.
