Cut-off for Indian Army JCO 2021
There are a total of 2 papers for Indian Army JCO exam 2021. To be assessed for paper 2 all the exam takers have to first qualify paper 1. The cut off paper 1 exam is scoring a minimum of 40% marks. Candidates scoring less than that will not be assessed for paper 2. And for the interview, a candidate has to get at least 50 marks out of 100 to qualify for the interview. According to the marks obtained in both paper 2 and interview, final merit list is prepared for the selected candidates.

Documents for Indian Army JCO 2021
Candidates who gets finally selected for the post have to generate a No Objection Certificate from their employer at Zonal Recruiting Office before dispatch.
Documents at the time of the screening process:
There are certain documents which the candidates must produce when called for the screening process. Check what all documents they need to bring at the time of screening:
- Character certificate by Sarpanch of the Village or authorized signatory
of the State Government. - Domicile/Resident/Nativity certificate from the authorized signatory of the State Government.
- Original Certificate from matriculation onward and detailed mark sheet of each year separately pertaining to educational qualification.
- Son of Servicemen/Ex-servicemen, Son of War Widow/Son of Widow certificate in original, if applicable.
Indian Army JCO Vacancies 2021

Indian Army JCO Training 2021
Candidates who are finally selected for the post are enrolled as JCO (RT) and has to undergo 06 weeks of Basic Training at BEG and Centre, Kirkee. After the completion of 06 weeks of training, they further undergo 11 weeks of training specific to religious denominations as applied by the candidates at Institute of National Integration (INI), Pune.
On successful completion of training the candidates will be commissioned as
Religious Teachers in the rank of Naib Subedar as per existing terms and conditions. Candidates must note that rejection can take place at any stage during training also.

Screening
Candidates found eligible issued with Admit Card for initial screening which includes checking of original certificate, physical fitness test followed by medical examination at respective Headquarters Recruiting Zone/Regimental Centres concerned.
Written Examination and Interview
Screened candidates is put through written examination which is scheduled on February 23, 2020, and comprised of two papers as follows:
- Paper – I (Maximum Marks – 100) – This paper contains objective type questions on general awareness and common to candidates of all religious denominations. Pass marks 40%
Note: Paper-I is a qualifying exam only. Only candidates scoring min 40% marks in Paper-I, qualify for appearing in Paper –II. Marks not counted while preparation of merit list for appearing in the interview or final selection.
- PAPER- II (Maximum Marks – 100) – This paper contains objective questions to check the knowledge specific to particular religious denominations to which the candidate belongs.
The final selection is based on merit list drawn on the basis of the total marks obtained in Paper-II and Interview.
Indian Army JCO
Indian Army releases the recruitment of Religious Teachers in Indian Army as Junior Commissioned Officers for RRT 88, 89 & 90 courses. There is a total of 152 vacancies posted by the Indian Army. These applicants are responsible for preaching religious scriptures to troops and conduct various rituals at Regimental/Unit religious institutions. Their duties also include attending funerals, ministering to the sick in hospitals, reading prayers with the convalescents, visiting soldiers undergoing sentence, giving special religious instructions to the children and enlisted boys besides attending generally to the religious institutions and welfare of the Officers, Soldiers and their families.
