Below is the syllabus for JSSC CGL 2022 preliminary and main exam for all the sections:
I. For Preliminary Exam:
Section-1 (General Studies): The questions in this section will into the knowledge of the candidates about the current affairs and their application and effects in the environment. The candidate must have keen observation and scientific approach towards the day to day events. The question can be asked about the Jharkhand State, India and its neighbouring countries. The criteria from which the questions can be asked are:

Section-2 (General Sciences): The questions will be asked in this section from the candidate’s general science and their day to day application in life.
Section-3 (General Mathematics): The question will be asked from the maths till10th standard. This section will include questions from the following sections:

- Trignometry
- Geometry
Section-4 (Mental Ability Test): This section will include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The topics that you must read include the following:

Section-5 (GK for Jharkhand State): In this section the candidate’s knowledge of Jharkhand State’s history, geography, culture, languages, society, literature, sports, advancements, 5 year plans etc. will be tested.
II. For Main Exam:
Paper-1 (Language Test)
This section will have 120 questions divided into 4 sections two of Hindi and two of English.
Hindi: The questions in this section will be asked on the basis of candidate’s understanding of the language. The question paper will comprise of 30 questions from reading comprehension and 30 questions from grammar.
English: This section will have 30 questions from reading comprehension and 30 questions from English grammar. The question paper will check the candidate’s understanding of the English Language.
Paper-2 (Regional and Tribal Language Test)
The regional and tribal language test will include various languages. The syllabus of all the languages includes questions from the History, Literature (Novel, Prose and Poetries), Grammar and Linguistics of the Language. The candidate must know how to read, write and speak the language opted by him.

JSSC CGL Preparation Tips
Candidates must keep calm and start preparing for the JSSC CGL Exam from this instant. The syllabus of both exams are quite lengthy and covers many topics at once. You can refer to the tips given below to prepare for the JSSC CGL 2022:
Current Affairs With NewsPapers: Candidates are advised to read at least 2 newspaper on daily basis. It will help in 2 ways by creating the reading habit for attending the reading comprehensions and by creating knowledge about the current affairs and its effects.
Practising is Important: The reasoning ability and numerical questions can be perfected by practicing only. Candidates need to clear their basics first and then practice questions from additional books as well.
Refer NCERT for Maths: To clear the basics for the maths section, the candidates should refer to the NCERT. The NCERT till 10th class for mathematics can easily clear the basis of the maths question.
Make Notes: You must make notes for a topic after completing it. This will help you remember the topics and the notes prepared at that time can be used for last moment revisions.
Strategy for Attempting Question Paper: Because there is negative marking and the time given for solving the question paper is quite less. Hence, the candidates need to strategize the attempting of the question paper. You must solve such the question first where you are 100% sure.

About JSSC CGL 2022
JSSC CGL 2022 is conducted in 3 phases which preliminary exam, main exam and document verification. The preliminary exam consists of 5 sections to be solved in 2 hours. The candidates who clear the minimum cut-off marks are qualified to appear in the main exam. The main exam is divided into 3 papers of 2 hours each. The candidates who qualify the main exam are called for the document verification round. For cut-off clarification, the marks scored by the candidates in Paper-2 and Paper-3 are considered only.
