JSSC CGL Result Compilation 2022
The result for the preliminary and main exam is compiled based on the marks scored by the candidates in the exam. The marks of the candidates are calculated and then it is compared with the minimum marks as per the cut-off. The merit list for the preliminary exam is prepared for all the candidates who qualify the cut-off.
For Main Exam:
- For the main exam, the marks of the candidates are calculated.
- Then, the marks scored in the Paper-2 and Paper-3 are considered for minimum cut-off marks.
- A list is prepared for all the candidates who qualify the cut-off marks is a decreasing oreder of total marks.
- The candidates are selected for the merit list on the basis of no. of vacancies notified.
Tie Breaking Criteria:
If two or more candidates score equal marks in an exam then, below is the criteria to break the tie in such situations:
– First, the Date of Birth of the candidates will be considered and the older candidate will be given preference.
– If the tie still exists, the marks of the candidates in the highest education is considered for breaking the tie.

The candidates can check whether they have qualified for the exam or not through the merit list prepared by the commission. Below are the steps that the candidates can follow check their result through the merit list.
1st step: Click on the link in the article or go to the website of JSSC.
2nd step: Now, scroll and find the button “Result” on the left side of the main page. Click on that button.
3rd step: Here, there will be a list of the exams for which the results have been announced. Find the name of your posts and the name of the exam.
4th step: Click on the link given in front of the name of the exam. The merit list PDF will open in front of you.
5th step: Further, press “ctrl+F” and type your roll no.
6th step: Press enter. If your name or roll no. is highlighted in the list then you have cleared the exam.
