How to Apply for KAS 2020 Kerala?
To fill the application form, candidates have to first visit the official website which is keralapsc.gov.in and complete the one-time registration process. If the candidate has already registered themselves then they can directly sign-in and fill the application form. To do one-time registration, the candidate has to follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Go to the official website and click on the green option, which says One Time registration.

Step 2: Candidates have to click on the option which says, new registration.

Step 3: Fill the details asked in this registration form. Candidates now have to click on the ‘Register’ option present in the last of the page.

Step 4: Once this is done, candidates can fill their application form.
How to Retrieve User ID Password
Once the registration is done for KAS application form 2020 Kerala, candidates should keep the user ID and password safely, until the recruitment end. If in case candidates didn’t have their password or user ID, they can retrieve it by following methods.
Candidates can send the SMS to 166 / 51969 / 9223166166 to reset their user ID and password, or they can contact the help desk number.
To reset the User ID: Type KL USR and send an SMS at the respective number.
To reset the password: Candidates have to send an SMS from their registered mobile only in this format: KL USR RST USERID DATE_OF_BIRTH.
Candidates can also retrieve the password by going to the login page and clicking on Forgot password option.

They get an option to add User ID, date of birth, ID proof and ID proof number. After adding the details as shown below, candidates are able to retrieve the password.

Candidates who are filling the KAS application form 2020 Kerala, should keep instructions given below in mind while uploading the photograph. Photographs of the candidates, uploaded as per the format given below will remain valid for 10 years, starting from the date they upload it.
- While doing one time registration, photograph that the candidate is uploading should have the date depicting the time when the photograph was clicked.
- The uploaded photograph should be taken on 31.12.2010 or after it, not before.
- A photo can be either coloured or black and white. It should be taken in such a way that shoulder and face of the candidate is visible clearly.
- Candidates have to ensure that the photograph they are uploaidng should either have white or light coloured background.
- The face of the candidate in a photograph should be focussed centrally.
- Eyes in the photograph of the candidate should be vivid and open.
- Avoid uploading the photograph where the candidate is wearing goggles. One can click the photograph wearing a cap or veil adhering to religious belief or custom.
- Photograph showing half face, or are not clear will be rejected.

Candidates who are willing to apply for KAS 2020 Kerala should have a graduation degree in any subject, from recognized university/institute. Before filling the KAS application form 2020 Kerala, one should keep the following points in mind:
Age limit: To be eligible to apply in stream-1, candidate should be of minimum 21 years and maximum age limit is 32 years. For stream-2 minimum age limit is 21 years and 40 years is the maximum age limit. Those who are applying in Steam-3 should be a maximum of 50 years and not have crossed the age limit.
