About RRB Group D CBT and PET

RRB has announced 62907 post under Group D 2018. These are open for various Level 1 post. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of RRB Group Stage 1 CBT, followed by Physical Efficiency Test and Document verification round.

First Stage – RRB Group D CBT (Computer Based Test): The CBT was a objective type paper. The duration of the exam was 90 minutes candidates had to solve 100 multiple choice questions. For each question 4 answer options were given and negative marking of 1/3 marks is applicable for incorrect response. The questions were asked on Mathematics, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness on Current Affairs

Third Stage – RRB Group D Document Verification: Lastly, the candidates who qualify PET is called for document verification round. Candidates who get through this round are selected at a pay grade of Rs. 18000, under Level 01 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix, with other allowances.
