How to Check the KSET 2024 Result?
Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check their result.
1st step: Candidates should visit the official website that is mentioned above: kset.uni-mysore.ac.in.
2nd step: Click on the result link available under ‘news and events’ section.
3rd step: Now the candidates need to login by entering their roll number and date of birth and click search.
4th step: Scorecard of the candidate will then open on the screen. Candidates should take a printout of this.
KSET 2024 Qualifying Marks
The candidates have to appear for both paper 1 & 2 to clear KSET exam. They have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks for KSET as specified by the conducting body. The minimum qualifying marks is different for different categories. They are as follows:

According to the letter-number F.4-2/90 (NET) it’s stated that the top 6% of the candidates who has appeared in both the papers and have secured a minimum qualifying marks. So these top 6% of candidates having given paper 1 and 2 are estimated as qualified. These candidates are considered eligible and they receive the KSET certificate awarded by the University.

KSET Certificate
After the KSET result is declared, qualifying candidates gets KSET certificate. However, before that, aspirants have to submit documents for verification of eligibility. The KSET certificate states the candidate is eligible to be recruited in the post of assistant professor in the Universities/Institutions in Karnataka. With the certificate the candidates can then go ahead and they can apply for the assistant professor post to several institutions and universities.
Document Verification for KSET
After the KSET result has been released, the candidates who have qualified for KSET 2024 have to submit the printouts of the documents asked for. Candidates should send them to the KSET Office, Mysore. The documents are:
- Application form printout.
- Bank challan photocopy
- SSLC Mark Sheet
- Category certificates
- Certificate of physical disabilities( if applicable)
- Pass certificate and mark sheet of postgraduate degree
- KSET Result Sheet
After the successful document verification, the candidates will receive a KSET certificate.
