KSET Syllabus 2022
Karnataka State Eligibility Test, KSET is conducted across various states of Karnataka in 41 subjects. Before appearing for the exam, candidates should get thorough with the exam syllabus and exam pattern. Below mentioned is a detailed syllabus of KSET 2022 for both paper I and paper II.
Candidates must note that the KSET syllabus 2022 is divided into two sections for Paper I and Paper II.
- Paper I- It consists of Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching
- Paper II- This is based with regards to subject specialization of the candidate on the Postgraduate (PG) Level. There shall be 41 subjects for Paper II

KSET 2022 Exam Pattern
The test consists of two papers and both papers have objective type MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). Students can attempt all the questions of KSET 2022. The test is held in two separate sessions and there is specific time allotted for both the papers. Candidates have to mark the responses for questions of Paper 1 and Paper 2 within the time allotted. - Mode of exam: Offline
- Duration of exam: 1 hour for Paper I and 2 hours for Paper II
- Type of questions: MCQ format.
- Total marks: 100 marks for Paper I and 200 marks for Paper II
- Number of questions: 50 questions for Paper I and 100 questions for Paper II
- Marking scheme :
- Two marks for every right answer
- No negative marking

About KSET Exam
The Karnataka State Eligibility Test is conducted by the University of Mysore (recognized because of the Nodal Agency from UGC, New Delhi). Candidates certified for the KSET examination are eligible for the post as Lecturers/Assistant Professors of Universities/Colleges/Institutions (Government/Aided/Private) of Karnataka State. The exams include 2 papers; the form of questions in every of the papers would be more than one choices. The certificate issued via the University for the eligible candidate may have lifetime validity. Thus, candidates must check that they have covered the full KSET syllabus to crack the exam.
