Karnataka State Eligibility Test, KSET is conducted across various states of Karnataka in 41 subjects. Before appearing for the exam, candidates should get thorough with the exam syllabus and exam pattern. Below mentioned is a detailed syllabus of KSET 2024 for both paper I and paper II.
Candidates must note that the KSET syllabus 2024 is divided into two sections for Paper I and Paper II.
- Paper I- It consists of Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching
- Paper II- This is based with regards to subject specialization of the candidate on the Postgraduate (PG) Level. There shall be 41 subjects for Paper II

About KSET Exam
The Karnataka State Eligibility Test is organized by the University of Mysore. This test is recognized by the UGC in New Delhi. Those who pass the KSET exam can become Lecturers/Assistant Professors in the universities, colleges, and institutions in Karnataka (whether government, aided, or private). The exam has two papers with multiple-choice questions. If you qualify, the certificate from the University is valid for a lifetime.
