Karnataka TET Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Karnataka TET has two papers, each of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks, four options per question with one correct answer, on OMR, with no negative marking, over 2 hours 30 minutes. Except the language subjects, the question paper is printed in Kannada, English, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Marathi, and a candidate answers in the medium chosen at the application stage.

Standard and syllabus
Paper 1 questions are based on the state syllabus for classes I to V (difficulty up to the Secondary stage), and Paper 2 on the syllabus for classes VI to VIII (difficulty up to the PUC / +2 stage). The official KARTET syllabus, in Kannada and English, is available as free PDFs below.
