LIC Assistant Result Tie-breaking Criteria 2019
There is majority a case when two or more candidates achieves the same score or marks and are getting the same rank in the merit list. In this case, the exam conducting body adopts the following criteria to allot the ranks or the score to the candidates. The following factors taken into considerations are:
- Aggregate marks in the main examination
- Higher Qualification
- Age
First the aggregate marks are taken into consideration obtained in the main exam, if they are same then the qualifications get checked. Whoever will have a higher qualification will be placed at a higher merit list. If that is also same then the person with higher age is given weightage and is placed higher in merit order.
Marking scheme of LIC Assistant Result 2019

Total Marks: Paper 1 is of 100 marks and paper 2 is of 200 marks.

How the result is calculated
The LIC Assistant result 2019 is calculated based on the marks achieved in the examination. Only the marks obtained in the main examination is taken into consideration for preparing the merit list and not the preliminary exam marks. Candidates must ensure they fulfil or obtained the sectional cut-off prescribed by the authority.
