MP SET 2018 – State Eligibility Test Cell of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MP PSC) has released the e-Certificate & Marksheet of MP SET 2018 at Earlier the result of MP SET 2018 on April 06, 2019 on the official website of Commission. The result has been announced for the examination held from January 17 to 21, 2019. Now all the qualifiers can check their marks, through the marksheet. Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2018 for this year shall be conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for MP SET 2018 may submit their applications through online mode. Candidates are advised to visit the official website and this page for regular updates.

Exam Pattern of MP SET 2018

The computer-based examination consists of three sections i.e. Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.

Paper-I: Teaching and Research Aptitude

Maximum Marks – 100
No of Questions – 50 (Candidates have to give the answer of any 50 questions)
Duration – 1 Hour

Paper-II: Paper of a selected subject

Maximum Marks – 200
No of Questions – 100 (All Compulsory)
Duration – 2 Hours

Application Process of MP SET 2018

The application form has opened on the specified date. The candidates have to fill the for online then submit it offline. The candidate can opt any one of them. While submitting the form the candidates have to submit a certain amount as per their category. The category wise application fee is as follows

Eligibility Criteria of MP SET 2018

Educational Qualification: The candidate who has any of the following qualifications are able to apply.

  • Graduation with 55% marks for General category candidate and 50% marks for reserved category candidates.

Note: The candidates who are currently appearing in their final year or final semester are eligible to apply.

Selection Process of MP SET 2018

The selection process of MP Set contains one computer-based examination. The candidates have to undergo the computer-based examination. After that, the Commission will prepare the list of the candidates on the basis of minimum marks obtained in the exam.

There will be two merit list the first one will be prepared on the following criteria.

  • The candidates belonging to an unreserved category have to obtain the minimum 40% marks.
  • Whereas the candidates belonging to reserved category candidate have to obtain minimum 35% marks.

Second Merit List

Later on the basis of the first merit list, the candidates will be selected by applying reservation. As per the rule 15% SC, 7.5% ST and 3% PWD will be selected.

Result of MP SET 2018

As we said above there will be two merit list for one selection. Hence at official website one by one two merit list will be released. The candidates may have to enter the login credentials for downloading the merit list. The candidates who will be selected finally will get the eligibility certificate. The candidates who will clear the examination will get the eligibility certificate will able to teach in as a professor in any college in MP.
