MP SET 2018 – State Eligibility Test Cell of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MP PSC) is condcuting the MP SET 2018 examination from Januray 17 to 21, 2019. After the examination, the Commission releases the answer key for each shift of exam. The candidates who have appeared in the examination can check the answer key. Along with answer key, the link to raise objection has also activated. The candidates have to submit their response within the 07 days of answer key release. The Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test will be held in online mode (Computer Based Test). The MP SET is conducting for 19 subjects. Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2018 for this year shall be conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. Admit Card for MP SET 2018
On completion of application procedure the candidates whose application form have reached in time and wi found eligible, Commission has issued the admit card. MP PSC releases the admit card at mppsc.nic.in. The candidates have to download the admit card from the official website.

The computer-based examination consists of three sections i.e. Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III.
Paper-I: Teaching and Research Aptitude
Maximum Marks – 100
No of Questions – 50 (Candidates have to give the answer of any 50 questions)
Duration – 1 Hour
Paper-II: Paper of a selected subject
Maximum Marks – 200
No of Questions – 100 (All Compulsory)
Duration – 2 Hours
Application Process of MP SET 2018
The application form has opened on the specified date. The candidates have to fill the for online then submit it offline. The candidate can opt any one of them. While submitting the form the candidates have to submit a certain amount as per their category. The category wise application fee is as follows

Educational Qualification: The candidate who has any of the following qualifications are able to apply.
- Graduation with 55% marks for General category candidate and 50% marks for reserved category candidates.
Note: The candidates who are currently appearing in their final year or final semester are eligible to apply.

Selection Process of MP SET 2018
The selection process of MP Set contains one computer-based examination. The candidates have to undergo the computer-based examination. After that, the Commission will prepare the list of the candidates on the basis of minimum marks obtained in the exam.
There will be two merit list the first one will be prepared on the following criteria.
- The candidates belonging to an unreserved category have to obtain the minimum 40% marks.
- Whereas the candidates belonging to reserved category candidate have to obtain minimum 35% marks.
Second Merit List
Later on the basis of the first merit list, the candidates will be selected by applying reservation. As per the rule 15% SC, 7.5% ST and 3% PWD will be selected.
Result of MP SET 2018
As we said above there will be two merit list for one selection. Hence at official website one by one two merit list will be released. The candidates may have to enter the login credentials for downloading the merit list. The candidates who will be selected finally will get the eligibility certificate. The candidates who will clear the examination will get the eligibility certificate will able to teach in as a professor in any college in MP.
