NDA 2021 Result Date
The examinations for NDA 1 2021 exam is scheduled for April 18, 2021. As per the previous year trends, the exam was conducted on September 06, 2020. The NDA 2 2020 result was out on October 09, 2020 that is 33 days after the exam. So, this year also aspirants can expect NDA 2021 result at least 33 days after the exam.

Details present on NDA Result 2021
Result for NDA is declared in merit list format. There will be two merit lists for the NDA (I) exam and two for the NDA (II) exam. The first merit list consists of only the candidate’s roll number in it and the other has roll number and name of the candidate. Both the merit lists releases on the same date.
Steps to Check NDA 2021 Scorecard
NDA Result contains only the list of selected candidates who qualify for the SSB interviews for final selection. However, it does not contain the mark sheet of the candidates. NDA 2021 Scorecard is released by the UPSC within 15 days of the publication of the merit list. Candidates who appeared in the test can check the marks obtained by following steps and downloading the NDA 2021 scorecard.

NDA Result Stages
The NDA result is released in two distinctive stages. At first, the result of the written test is released by the Commission following which, the final NDA results are released. Those who are selected in the final result can get admission into the respective NDA or NA for the current sessions.
Result of Written Exam: The results of the written exam are released shortly after the final answer keys have been compiled. Candidates achieving equal to or more than the specified cut-offs are shortlisted in the merit list. These candidates are eligible to appear in the SSB interviews for final selection.
Final result: The final results are based on the performance of the candidate in the written test and the SSB interviews. Those who qualify the written tests are required to appear in the 5 days SSB interview. Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks in the written as well as the interview for recommendation for admission to the respective Academy.

What is the Tie-breaking Policy for NDA 2021 Result
In the event that a tie of marks is encountered, the UPSC adopts some guidelines to resolve the tie. The age of the candidates is then taken as a criteria for selection. The candidate who is older in age is placed at a higher rank than the one younger in age.
What After Declaration of NDA Result 2021
Once a candidate qualifies the written examination stage of selection, they are called for SSB round. To know the date and venue of the SSB interview, a candidate is required to log on to the website of the Army, Navy or Air Force after qualifying the written exam. For the interview round, candidates have to carry certain documents with them for verification which are as follows
- Matriculation certificate or its equivalent examination certificate.
- Original age certificate.
Aspirants have to produce the original documents soon after the SSB interview. Original documents submitted by the candidates are returned after the verification. Those who have already qualified 10+2 standard examination must carry their pass certificate or mark sheet for the interview.
Declaration of Final result of NDA 2021
The Union Public Service Commission prepares a list of candidates who have qualified the prescribed minimum qualifying marks by the Commission in the written examination. Those candidates are called for a Services Selection Board (SSB) for Intelligence and Personality Test. Under these tests, candidates for Army/Navy wings of the NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be tested for officers potentiality. And for Air Force candidates have to qualify Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS). After clearing all the stages a final list of result is published on the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
NDA 2021 Selection Procedure
Selection for NDA NA (I) & (II) admissions are done in two stages based on written tst and SSB procedure. These are introduced at the Air Force Selection Boards/Selection Centres/Naval Selection Boards. All the candidates will be put in stage one selection, at the Naval Selection Boards/ selection centres/ Air Force Selection Boards. Only those who qualify the stage one will be taken to stage two. Candidates who reach the stage two of the selection process have to carry original and photocopy of the 10th pass certificate and 10+2 pass certificate.

About NDA 2021
The Union Public Service Commission conducts the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy examination 2021. To be eligible to apply for the same, candidate must have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination. Selection will be done in two stages – written and interview round. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the UPSC Commission. Admit card and answer key for this examination can also be downloaded by the candidates through the website only.
