What each CAPF AC result means

Written result

Paper-I is evaluated first, and Paper-II only for candidates who clear the Paper-I minimum; each paper has its own minimum qualifying marks. The 25 August 2026 press note is a PDF of roll numbers, and a name-wise list followed on 8 September 2026. Candidature stays provisional. Reservation certificates must have been issued by the application closing date, 12.03.2026.

PST/PET

The physical tests are conducted by SSB as the Nodal Authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs and are qualifying only. Candidates who do not qualify in the PET are not called for interview.

Interview, medical and final merit

The interview carries 150 marks. Medical Standards Tests are held only for candidates who appeared in the interview, and an appeal against the medical result must reach the MHA appellate authority within 24 hours. The final merit list adds the written and interview marks, rounded to two decimal places, and Forces are allotted by merit and the preferences given. Ties go to the higher written total, then the higher Paper-I (General Ability and Intelligence) score, then the older candidate, and finally to the Commission's discretion.

When are CAPF AC marks available?

Marksheets of candidates who did not qualify go online only after the final result and stay there for 30 days, opened with roll number and date of birth. A printed copy can be requested within thirty days with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Marks of recommended candidates are likely within 15 days of the final result. In the 2025 cycle, the final result came on 7 August 2026 and the marks of recommended candidates on 12 August 2026.
