NRSC Hyderabad Recruitment 2018: National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the constituent Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation. NRSC has issued an online notification for the recruitment of scientist / Engineer -SC. Online application for the same is available, Candidates in their own interest are advised to apply well in advance of the due date. NRSC will not be responsible for failure to submit application due to whatsoever reason within the last date. Based on the post candidate has applied for selection will be done either through the written test or interview. Candidates applying for postcode 12 will have to appear for skill test, only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to sit for skill test. The selected candidates are likely to be posted at NRSC-Earth Stations situated at various locations in India.

Eligibility Criteria
Pre-eligibility Qualification
M.E/ M.Tech / Equivalent should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
M.Sc / Equivalent should be in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale or equivalent.

Post Code – 02: M.Tech in Hydrology / Water Resources in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of a minimum of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent. with B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Post Code – 03: M. Tech / M.Tech in Applied Geology/ Geology/ Equivalent with Bachelor‟s Degree in Geology /Equivalent.

Application form
Application form for ISRO Scientist engineer has been started from January 17, 2018. The application form is available online, Those intending to apply for more than one Post should submit a separate application for each post through On-line. The Candidates should ensure while applying that they fulfil the eligibility criteria and other requirements and that the particulars furnished by them are correct in all respects
Admit card
National Remote Sensing Centre will issue the admit card on the official website. Candidates who have filled and submitted the complete application form in all respect will be able to download the admit card. Depending on the posts for which candidate has applied written/ Interview will be conducted. details regarding the date of written or interview is yet to be announced candidates are advised to visit regulalry for more details.
Result
Based on the online bio-data, initial screening will be conducted for shortlisting the candidates for interview. The Centre may adopt the method of shortlisting the candidates for interview by fixing a higher cut-off percentage of marks scored in the essential qualification. Please note that the qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for interview/selection. The final selection will be based on performance of candidates in the interview only.
Selection Process
The Qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Written Test/ Interviews. There will be an initial screening based on the academic performance and other parameters given in the On-line application and only those who are screened-in will be called for Written Test / Interviews.

The mode of selection will be Written Test and Skill Test with curriculum based. The Written Test will be conducted first and short-listing will be done based on the Written Test scores and required number of candidates alone shall be called for Skill Test.
The Skill Test will be purely on go-no-go basis and marks obtained in the Skill Test will not be considered for selection. The Skill Test will be evaluated on a 100 point scale with minimum 60% for qualification.
The final selection will be done amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the scores obtained in the Written Test. From amongst candidates who qualify in the Skill Test with minimum 60% marks, empanelment will be done in the order of marks obtained in the Written Test. In case of a tie in the Written Test scores, the academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker.
