OPSC AEE Result 2020: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) releases the result of the OPSC AEE recruitment exam at the official, opsc.gov.in. OPSC prepares a merit list of the qualifying candidates according to the number of vacancies and marks scored in objective type written test and viva voice. Objective type written test is given 90% weightage while the viva test is given 10% weightage for preparation of the OPSC merit list. After the exam, a list of candidates is prepared who will be appearing in the viva test. Selection Process
Following is the selection process of OPSC AEE Recruitment 2020:
1.Written Exam: The first step to selection process is the written exam of 3 hours. There will 2 papers of 3 hours each with 180 objective type questions in each paper. Result of the written test is posted on the official portal with roll no. of all the candidates shortlisted for the next test. The marks of the written test have 90% weightage in preparing the merit list.
2. Viva Test: Next step is the viva exam of the candidate. The shortlisted candidates give viva voice test of 40 marks. The weightage of this viva test is 10% for the preparation of the merit of the candidates.
3. Medical Test: After the result is declared for all the test, the shortlisted candidates have to go for a medical test in a medical center assigned by OPSC. If the candidate fails the medical test, he will be eliminated from the recruitment process.
How to Check OPSC AEE 2020 Result
OPSC result 2020 comprises of roll no and marks scored by all the candidates in the written exam as well as in the viva exam. Following are the steps for checking the result of OPSC AEE 2020:
Step 1: Go to the official website i.e. opsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the result tab on the main menu on the main page.
Step 3: Now, find the relevant link for downloading the result PDF of the OPSC AEE exam.
Step 4: Here, this is the list of all the candidates who appeared in the exam and viva test and the marks scored by them. Now, check your result and whether you are shortlisted or not.
Note: After the result, candidates go through medical test. The candidates must clear the medical test to get the post of AEE.

OPSC AEE Result 2020 – Cut Offs
The candidate must score the minimum marks required for clearing the test to be shortlisted for the job. The minimum marks required is the cut-off. Cut-off is decided by the OPSC after the exam. Cut-off varies for different categories. The marks required depends on various factors such as:

What After OPSC AEE Result 2020 is declared
The candidature of the qualifying candidates will be purely be based on provisional. The candidates after qualifying both the written test and viva test, the candidates will be provided with an intimation letter. The candidates are advised to download their intimation letter and attestation form from the official website of OPSC – opsc.gov.in. After that they have to sit for an interview round which would be the final decision made by Odisha Public Service Commission.

No. Of PwD Category Posts in AEE Mechanical Engineering:
The is 1 post reserved for Blindness/ Low vision candidates who have sports quota.
Note: There is also 1% reservation for women with disabilities.
Also, one-third of the posts reserved for sportsperson will be given to women.
About OPSC AEE 2020
Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) AEE exam is conducted in two phases : Written examination and viva test. The written examination is held for three hours with a total no. of 180 MCQs. For every correct answer, it carries 1 mark and for every incorrect answer, 0.25 is deducted from the paper. The candidates must possess a degree in Civil engineering or mechanical engineering to appear in OPSC AEE 2020 exam, and bearing the age of 21 to 32 years.
