OSSSC has begun the application process for the selection of Junior Clerk under the different departments of Government. Online applications are being invited from the candidates for the recruitment to 765 in a number of District and Circle/Range cadre posts of Junior Clerk in various districts/range/circle. The application forms are available online on the official website of OSSSC i.e. osssc.gov.in. Interested and eligible candidates can apply as per the scheduled dates only. OSSSC Junior Clerk Application Form 2017
Candidates applying for the post of Junior Clerk 2017 must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility requirements specified by the conducting body for the concerned post. Candidates interested in both the cadres need to indicate their preference in the application form. Candidates must fill the application form on or before the last date as no late applications will be accepted by the conducting body.

- All applicants other than SC, ST Category and Persons with Disabilities have to pay Exam fee of Rs. 100/- as per schedule date.
Mode of Payment – The fee can be deposited through online mode by logging into the OSSSC website www.osssc.gov.in or by the conventional mode of deposit in any Government Treasury under the Head of Account “0051-P.S.C.-104-UPSC/SSC-Examination Fee-0047-Fees Collected for Conducting Examination by OSSSC-02213.”
Fee once paid will not be refunded under any cricumstances.
Documents Needed for Registration/Re-registration and Online Application
- Candidates paying the examination fee using online payments then they have to keep their Debit/Credit cards or Internet Banking facilities ready.
- Scanned images of Candidate’s signature in jpg/jpeg/png/pdf format with the size between 20kbs to 50kbs.
- Scanned image of the photograph in jpg/jpeg/png format with the size between 20kbs to 100kbs for uploading in the application form.
- Candidates should also keep their Certificates and Marksheets for filling the educational details in the online application form.
- Candidates paying the examination fee manually then they have to keep the scanned copy of Treasury challan in jpg/jpeg/png/pdf format with the size between 100kbs to 300kbs as a proof of payment.
- Candidates are required to have a valid email id and mobile number which should be active until the end of the recruitment process.
How to Apply?
Candidates are required to go through the following procedure to register and fill the application form as given below:
Step 1 – Candidates need to visit the official website of OSSSC i.e. osssc.gov.in. and click on the ‘Register’ given at the right on the homepage of the website.
Step 2 – Candidates registering for the first time need to click on the ‘New User’.
Step 3 – Next, the candidates are directed to next page where they have to scroll down while reading all the instructions and click on ‘Proceed to Registration’.
Step 4 – A popup has appeared to which the candidates are required to click on ‘Ok’ and then the Registration page is open on the screen
Step 5 – Now, the candidates need to fill all the registration details such as User Name, Establishment Preference, Personal Details, Email Id, Mobile Number, Password and lastly, have to upload their signature.
Step 6 – After filling all the details, the candidates must Preview it and then click on ‘Submit’ to complete the registration process.
Step 7 – Candidates need to click on ‘Ok’ for the popup and then a pdf is generated on a separate tab.
Step 8 – Candidates need to download the pdf containing all their registered details for the future reference.
Step 9 – Now, the candidates need to ‘Activate their Account’ by entering all the required details.
Step 10 – After the successful activation, the candidates are directed to the login page where they have to enter the username and password.
Step 11 – Then, it will show all the details of the post which the candidates have registered and to proceed further, the candidates need to click on ‘Preview Registration’.
Step 12 – Now, an alert appears for which the candidates need to click ‘Ok’, verify all the popup details and click on ‘Confirm’ to proceed further.
Step 13 – Next, the candidates are required to upload their documents by clicking on ‘Provide Document Details’ and then provide all the required details and ‘Submit’ it.
Step 14 – After the successful submission, the candidates need to click on ‘Confirm’ and then ‘Ok’ to proceed for payment of Examination fee which is Rs. 100/- for the General candidates.
Step 15 – Now, the candidates need to choose the option of Payment which is either upload Treasury challan or Pay online.
Step 16 – After the successful payment, the candidates need to click on the appeared link i.e. ‘Apply Now’.
Step 17– Candidates are required to fill all the details by saving all the filled-in details and after filling all the details, they can ‘Preview the Application’.
Step 18 – Then, the candidates need to click on ‘Submit Application’ for final submission.
Step 19 – On successful completion of the application, a pdf will be generated in a separate tab.
Step 20 – Lastly, the candidates need to download the pdf and take a printout for the future reference.
*Note – Candidates are required to complete the application process between the above-mentioned dates only as after the last date, the system will be automatically disabled and will not accept any applications.
The next event of the recruitment will be of downloading the admit card from the official website of the Commission. The admit card will be issued to the applied candidates before the day of examination. Candidates need to carry the admit card at the examination centre as without it they will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
