Eligibility For PGCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment through GATE 2021
The candidates have to satisfy the entire eligibility criteria or they will not be selected. The eligibility norms are as mentioned below.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years, as on December 31, 2020
Educational Qualification: The candidates must possess an engineering degree in the following streams. The candidates in final year may also apply. However, they need to ensure that do secure a at least 75% marks or equivalent CGPA .

Eligible candidates have to apply online for the Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2021 at the official website powergridindia.com only. While submitting the application form, the candidates will have to enter the following:

PGCIL Executive Trainee Recruitment through GATE 2021 Selection Process
The selection process for Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2021 consist of the marks obtained by the candidate in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates need to follow the selection process as given below:
- Candidates with valid GATE 2021 scores are only considered as eligible for the next stages of selection.
- Qualified candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their normalized marks out of 100 in GATE 2021, in the corresponding paper.
- Candidates can get their status information through their login at the Power Grid Online Application System. Shortlisted candidates need to download their call letter and other important documents for the interview.
- The candidates need to qualify the Personal Interview for the final selection with the qualifying percentage as given below:

Service Agreement Bond
The selected candidates have to serve the company for at least three years. Breaking this bond will lead to compensation of Rs. 5,00,000 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and Rs. 2,50,000 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
