PSTET 2020 Exam Pattern
Candidates preparing for the exam of PSTET must know about the exam pattern of both the papers. Refer below to know about the exam pattern of PSTET exam:

Duration: The exam is of 2 hours 30 minutes.

Preparation Tips for PSTET 2020
Here are some of the preparation tips that can be helpful for preparing for the exam and for attempting the exam. Test takers must keep calm and start preparing for the paper as early as possible.
- Refer NCERT to clear basics: The candidates must first clear their basics and then refer to other books to prepare for the exam. NCERT is the best book to prepare for clearing the basics from the core and simplifying all the doubts.
- Cover Whole Syllabus: Candidates must prioritize the sections and then try covering the whole syllabus. You can refer to the previous year’s papers to know which topic has more weightage as compared to others.
- Revision is a must: Candidates must revise the syllabus. It gives you strong command over the topics and candidates can also remember the nuances of the topics through revision.
- Time Management: The syllabus is vast. Therefore, candidates must manage their time and prepare a time table. Time table helps you with preparing for the exam quite easily.
- Speed and Accuracy: Candidates have 1 minute to solve a question. Therefore, the candidates must maintain their speed for solving the paper.

About PSTET 2020
PSTET exam is a state teaching eligibility exam conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The candidates appear for the 150 minutes exam to solve the question paper of 150 marks. There is a total of 150 questions in the question papers. The question paper of Paper-1 is divided into 5 sections of 30 marks each. Paper-2 has 4 sections in it. In order to qualify, the candidates have to score 60% or more marks in the exam. Candidates qualifying the exam are issued a certificate for teaching eligibility which is valid for 7 years from the release of the result.
