The result can be checked through the scorecard for the PSTET exam. Candidates can follow the simple steps provided below to check the PSTET Result 2020 themselves.
1st step: Go to the official website and click on the link to download the PSTET Result 2020. It is available at the homepage as per schedule.
2nd step: Candidates are redirected to a new login page as soon as they click on the result link.
3rd step: Here, fill the login details which is registration number and the password that is generated during the process of application for PSTET 2020.

Compilation of PSTET Result 2020
To prepare the final merit list for PSTET, the official answer key is used to evaluate the response sheets of the candidates and to know the scores of the candidates. Answers provided by the candidates are evaluated and awarded marks as per the PSTET marking criteria. PSTET 2020 Cut-off Marks
It is mandatory to secure the minimum qualifying marks to pass the PSTET exam. Only those candidates who score marks more than or equal to the minimum cut-off marks are considered qualifying. The minimum marks of the cut-off are 60% of total marks i.e. 90 marks out 150 marks. Any relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks is decided as per governmental norms applicable in the state.
Candidates who qualify the PSTET (Punjab State Teaching Eligibility Test) 2020 exam for either of the papers are issued a teaching eligibility certificate by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The minimum marks must be secure to clear the exam which is 60% of the total marks. This certificate must be preserved at least throughout the period of validity. Candidates can appear in the exam more than once to improve their score if they feel necessary. This teaching eligibility certificate will be valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of the result.
Career Scope After PSTET
Candidates who clear the PSTET exam can apply for the post of teacher of primary classes or upper primary classes as per the eligibility certificate. Candidates who cleared the Paper-1 of the exam are eligible for being a teacher for class 1st to 5th. Those who wish to be a teacher for class 6th to 8th must clear the exam for Paper-2 of PSTET. Qualifying candidates become teachers as recruited by a private school or the school fully or partially affiliated by the state government of Punjab.

About PSTET 2020
Punjab State Teaching Eligibility Test (PSTET) is a state teaching eligibility test for the teaching jobs of primary and secondary classes. Candidates who wish to be a teacher for class 1st to 5th have to appear in Paper-1 and for upper primary i.e. class 6th to 8th must give exam for Paper-2. The written exam is of 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper and the candidates have to solve 150 questions in this duration. All the questions in the paper are of objective type only. To qualify the exam, the candidates need to score 60% marks i.e. 90 marks out of 150 for each paper.
