Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan. The candidates of Bhutan and Nepal must possess an eligibility certificate issued by the Govt. of India.
Educational Qualifications: The candidates must

Physical and Mental Fitness: Candidates must be physically and mentally fit for the job. Upon selection, the candidates have to present fitness certificate issued by a medical officer.

- Ex-prisoner – upper age limit is relaxed by a period equal to imprisonment term
- Cadet instructors – upper age limit is relaxed by a period equal to that served in N.C.C. The resultant age, thus obtained, must not exceed prescribed age (40 years) by more than 3 years.
- Released emergency commissioned officers and short service commissioned officers – must be eligible at the time of joining the commission in the army.

The recruitment of Junior Personal Assistant(English) is done on the basis of a competitive examination. This exam is known as Shorthand Speed Assessment Test. - Firstly, a trial passage of 200-250 words is dictated. This passage is dictated at the same speed as that of the final passage.

- Once the dictation is over, candidates are provided a time of 5 minutes to read the passage.

Rajasthan High Court was established on August 27, 1949. Before the formation of Rajasthan High Court, there were 5 High Courts in different units of the state.
