UPPCL AE 2020 Notice regarding Appointment Letter
UPPCL has released notice regarding the issuance of appointment letter for Assistant Engineer (trainee). Earlier, candidates have to report on May 15, 16, & 18, 2020 has now changed to June 01, 02 and 03, 2020 due to the lockdown of the country.
How is result for UPPCL AE 2020 is prepared?
After the conduction of computer based examination, answer key for the same is released by the commission. The answer key is released after two days of the conduction of examination. Candidates are provided with an opportunity to raise an objection against the released answer key. Also, a valid justification or proof for the objection is required to be submitted by the candidate. The experts panel looks into the objections raised and relases another answer key. After the release of final answer key, no other objections is entertained.

UPPCL AE 2020 Selection Process
The selection for UPPCL AE – assistant engineer (trainee) of civil cadre and E & M cadre is done in two stages which are
- Computer based test
- Personal interview
Computer based examination will be held in the major cities of Uttar Pradesh. Examination centres can be changed as per the number of candidates available for the CBT or administrative issues. To qualify for the interview round, candidates first have to qualify the computer based test. Candidates who are able to secure at least 30% marks in the computer based test selected for interview round. On the basis of candidates’ performance in both the stages – CBT and interview round, candidates are selected. Candidature of the candidate is canceled if at any stage candidate is found not eligible for the post.

About UPPCL AE
UPPCL AE is conducted for the selection of candidates for the post of assistant engineer in civil and E & M cadre. To apply for these posts, candidates must have sufficient knowledge of Hindi language in Devnagri script. Also, for each post, an engineering degree in a particular stream is also required. If any candidate is found not eligible for the post as per the eligibility criteria then, he/she will not be selected. The selection for UPPCL AE is done in two stages – CBT and interview. Once a candidate is able to qualify CBT round , minimum marks is 30%, he/she is called for interview round. After qualifying interview round, document verification is done.
