RPF SI Question Paper – CEN RPF 01/2024
RPF SI Recruitment (CEN RPF 01/2024) was open for 452 vacancies. Selection of the candidates was done on the basis of CBT, followed by PET/PMT and document verification.

RPF SI CBT Exam Pattern
The first stage of RPF SI Recruitment is the Computer-based test (CBT). The test is of 90 minutes duration in which a candidate needs to solve 120 MCQ type questions. The question paper for RPF SI CBT is divided into three sections namely, General Awareness, Arithmetic, and General Intelligence & reasoning. The candidates can check the distribution of question in each of these section from the table below.

Marking Scheme: To calculate the marks using the RPF SI Question Paper and Answer Key, the candidates must know the marking scheme:

- As per the table given above, to calculate the marks, the candidates need to add 01 marks for a correct answer
- There is negative marking for an incorrect response. For a wrong answer, deduction of 1/3rd marks will be done.
- In case a question is left unanswered, no need to add or deduct any marks.
RPF SI Recruitment
The Railway Protection Force, through the Railway Recruitment Boards, conducts the recruitment drive for shortlisting candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector. Selected candidates are recruited at Pay Level-6 of the 7th CPC pay matrix, with an initial basic pay of Rs. 35,400/- plus other allowances. There are three stages of the recruitment process – Stage 1 is a Computer Based Test (CBT), Stage 2 is Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Stage 3 is Document Verification (DV). The most recent completed cycle, CEN RPF 01/2024, was open for 452 vacancies, with the CBT held 2-13 December 2024; the final result was declared 26 August 2025. The next cycle is expected to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), but has not been notified yet.
