RRB NTPC
RRB release the short notification in English and Hindi for RRB NTPC (Graduate) Recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply online as per the instructions. Candidate having filled the RRB application form can check application status and download the RRB admit card. Result of RRB NTPC is announced by after each stage of selection, online CBT, 2nd stage CBT, aptitude test, document verification, skill test, aptitude test. RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
To be eligible to apply for RRB NTPC (Graduate), one must have educational qualifications relevant for the post. Exact details of the same can be seen in the notification. Brief highlights are as follows.
- Candidate must have the qualification from recognized Board / University / Institute.
- Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist (JAA), Senior Clerk cum Typist (SCT), Senior Time Keeper must have typing proficiency in English / Hindi.
Age Limit:
Candidate should adhere to the upper and lower age limit. Whereas the lower birth date is same for all candidates, relaxation is available in upper date of birth.

RRB NTPC Examination Pattern
RRB NTPC Examination is conducted in two stages followed by Typing Skill Test / Aptitude Test (if applicable) and Document Verification. RRB NTPC Exam pattern for Computer Based Test is given here.
First Stage CBT
Duration of exam – The duration of exam scheduled to be held as computer based test will be 90 minutes. PWD candidates with scribes will get 120 minutes.
Number of questions – There will be 100 questions in the CBT.
Type of questions – All questions will be MCQ type.
Negative marking – 1/3rd mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Languages – The exam will be in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, konkani, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, Malayalam, and Urdu.
Second Stage CBT
Duration of exam – 90 minutes.
Number of questions – There will be 120 questions in the CBT.
Type of questions – All questions will be MCQ type.
Topics – General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning.

RRB NTPC Admit Card
A few weeks after the closing date of application forms, each RRB released application status for candidates who had applied for RRB. Through application status checking facility, candidate is able to know whether application form has been accepted / rejected / status of payment. Although details of this are not given in the detailed notification usually, but each RRB (zone) website has a page dedicated for this for most Indian Railways Jobs recruitment exam.
About RRB NTPC Admit Card
- Railway Recruitment Board Non Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) Admit card for examination is released two – three weeks before the exam.
- Admit card of RRB NTPC (Graduate) has been released after application form submission concluded in all zones.
- Depending upon the exact examination date in the respective zone, admit cards are issued by Railway Recruitment Board.
- Only those candidates who have applied and paid fees on time will be able to get the RRB Admit Card for RRB NTPC recruitment.
RRB NTPC Result
Result of RRB NTPC is declared online. Candidates who appeare for the online computer based test can know their RRB NTPC result online.
Date of declaration of RRB Results is determined by the zonal Railway Recruitment Board. The number of RRB NTPC Vacancy is quite large. Number of applicants is also large as many candidates want to get Indian Railways Job in Government of India. It thus takes some time for RRB NTPC results to be announced and candidates are requested to be patient while checking RRB NTPC Results.
