RUHS Medical Officer Recruitment Syllabus 2020 – Rajasthan University of Health and Sciences is conducting the RUHS Medical Officer Recruitment test for the 737 vacancies available in the university. Candidates taking the test need to know the syllabus and exam pattern for the same. Knowing the syllabus is the first step to starting the preparation. The syllabus for the RUHS medical officer recruitment test is based on all the topics from the MBBS degree program prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Candidates need to cover all the topics from the syllabus to qualify the examination for the recruitment of the said posts. Exam Pattern for the Recruitment Test

Once the candidate starts the preparation for the recruitment test, they need to know the exam pattern for the same. Exam pattern must be known to the candidate to get an edge in qualifying the examination. Candidates can check the exam pattern below and get an idea of what the recruitment test for the medical officer will look like.

  • Mode of the Exam – Computer-based test (online)
  • Duration of the exam – 2 hours (120 minuted)
  • Type of questions – Multiple Choice Questions (Objective Type)
  • Number of questions – 100
  • Marking Scheme – Following marking scheme is followed for the evaluation of score in the recruitment test.
    • +1 for every correct response.
    • No negative marking prevails for incorrect responses.

RUHS Medical Officer Tips to Prepare

After the candidates know the exam pattern and the syllabus in detail, they can move forward in preparing for the RUHS recruitment test for medical officers. Here are some tips from the experts to qualify in the exam.

  1. Know the details: Once the candidates decide to study, they must move forward in knowing the details of the exam. The details of the exam include the knowledge of the exam pattern and the syllabus.
  2. Strategical management: Candidates must have a strategic management of time to cover all the topics appearing in the recruitment test. Having a strategy will help in the time management while the preparation process.
  3. Know the strong and weak topics: As the candidate must have already covered all the things while pursuing MBBS, they would know what are their strongest and the weakest sections in the entire curriculum. Create a plan according to the same.
  4. Start with the studying part: One, the candidates know the syllabus, exam pattern and have a plan of action, they can move forward and start studying as per their plan.
  5. Notes and Answer writing:  Once the candidates start studying, they must create notes for every topic and write the answers to the important topics appearing the exam.
  6. Practice: In order to qualify the exam, candidates need to practice the topics to be asked in the exam. As it is also said that “Practice makes the man perfect”. Perfection in all the topics of the syllabus will lead in qualifying the examination.
  7. Make a timetable: Without this preparation tip nothing can be done. Candidates are advised to make a timetable as per their limits and wish. Try to study for at least 6-8 hours. Give break to body and mind with breaks as well.
  8. Revision: Candidates need to revise all the topics they have studied as the last part of the preparation. This the part where the notes created by the candidate come to the role.
