How to check the SSB Result 2020

Results of different recruitment examinations conducted by the SSB are available at the official website. Applicants can check the result from the website i.e. ssbrectt.gov.in. The results are released on scheduled date after the examination is over. Check out the step by step process for checking SSB Result 2020 below.

Step 1: Open the recruitment website of the SSB online. The website can be accessed at ssbrectt.gov.in.

Step 2: At the quick links section, click on the “results” tab. Check the image below.

Step 3: Enter roll number and click on “submit”.

Step 4: Press Ctrl + F on the keyboard and enter roll number. Press enter to check if shortlisted.

Step 5: Candidates can download and print the result pdf is needed.

Selection process of SSB 2020 recruitment

Sashastra Seema Bal follows a rigoruous and multi-stage selection process to recruit candidates. The eligibility of the applicants are assessed from the submitted applications for different recruitment programs. SSB specifies the eligibility conditions, including the physical parameters in details. Written Examination

Eligible applicants are required to appear for a written exam that serves as the preliminary screening test. The details of the written examination is published on the website of the SSB. Applicants must take the test as per schedule and secure the minimum cut off marks to participate in subsequent selection methods.

Physical Standards Test (PST)

Candidates qualifying in the written test are issued admit cards to appear in the physical assessment rounds for selection. The physical standards test (PST) is conducted to assess if the candidates comply with the specified physical standards for recruitment into the SSB. Candidates who do not meet the minimum standards such as height, weight and chest expansion are rejected at this stage.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates must participate in rigorous physical efficiency tests (PETs) to prove their mettle to serve in the elite force. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) comprises of different phhysical events such as running and other similar events. All applicants must pass through the physical efficiency test to be eligible for subsequent assessment.

Medical Examination

A Detailed Medical Examination (DME) is conducted for candidates who qualify through the physical rounds. Candidates are issued specialised instructions regarding the medical test to maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness before the exam. To qualify in the medical test, the applicants must be declared FIT in the test.

Candidates who are declared UNFIT in the medical test can apply for review of the assessment with concerned authorities. Candidates are then provided the facility to undergo a Review Medical Examination (RME) to qualify in the test. Candidates who qualify in the RME are issued call letters for the subsequent process.

Documentation and Personality Test / Interview

Applicants who qualify through all the stages of the selection process for SSB recruitment are issued call letters to appear in the documentation stage. Applicants who are selected in the final merit list are eligible to appear in this stage. Applicants must produce all original certrificates at this stage. For selected candidates, appointment orders are subsequently issued and despatched for training.
