SSC MTS 2022 Exam Syllabus

- Paper 1 syllabus
- English Language: Questions related to English language vocabulary, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and their correct usage as well as writing ability will be asked.
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: Non-verbal type questions will be asked regarding similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, abstract ideas, and symbols and their relationship as well as arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
- Numerical Aptitude: Questions regarding Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time and Time and Work will be asked.
- General Awareness: The candidate’s knowledge regarding current affairs as well as their ability to observe these events through a scientific lens is tested as well. Questions related to sports, history, culture, geography, economics, the general polity of India and its neighboring countries are asked.
- Paper 2 syllabus
The language medium of the paper will be in English, Hindi as mentioned in the Schedule-VIII of the Constitution. Candidates will be asked to write one essay or letter.
SSC MTS 2022 Exam Pattern
With the help of the SSC MTS exam pattern, candidates can understand the Commission’s marking scheme of the examination. The exam pattern is conducted in two stages where Paper 1 is a Computer-based paper while Paper 2 is a descriptive type paper. The exam pattern is as follows:
