The result of SSC MTS paper I is available on the SSC website in the form of a pdf. Candidates can follow the below-given steps to download the result of SSC MTS 2020:

SSC MTS 2020 Paper I Result – Tie Braking Criteria
There is always a possibility that two candidates have exactly the same marks and whom to be considered for merit. In such a situation SSC uses tie-breaking criteria to resolve the tie. There are some criteria that are applied in the following order one after the another till the tie is resolved:
- Total marks in Paper-II.
- Date of birth i.e. the candidate older in age gets preference.
- Alphabetical order of the names.

SSC MTS Selection Procedure
The selection procedure of SSC MTS is a three-stage process. The details of all the stages are as follows:
- Tier I – All the candidates who fill the application form will appear for a computer based online screening test of objective type question. This test will be of 100 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for tier II exam on the basis of the marks obtained in this exam.
- Tier II – Candidates fulfilling the cut off criteria of the tier I exam will have to appear for the tier II exam which will be a 50 marks long answer type question exam. This will only be a qualifying paper and the marks obtained in this paper will not be considered in making the final merit list unless there is a tie.
- Document Verification (DV) – This is the final step of the process. All the selected candidates have to get their document verified from the SSC. This includes all the relevant documents such as identity proof, category certificate, academic documents etc.

SSC MTS Salary
After selection for the MTS by the SSC a candidate will be entitled to grade pay of ₹18000. Other than this they are also entitled to allowances such as HRA, traveling allowances. They got their first promotion after 3 years of service.
What After SSC MTS Paper I Result 2020 is Out?
Once the result of paper I of SSC MTS 2020 is out, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the Tier II exam. The Tier II exam will be a descriptive essay type exam of any language of 50 mark. The duration of the SSC MTS tier 2 exam is of 30 minutes. This exam is only of a qualifying nature.
