SSC GD Admit Card 2026: PET/PST Admit Card Download at rect.crpf.gov.in

The SSC GD 2026 admit card for the Computer Based Examination (CBE) has served its purpose: the CBE ran from 27 April to 30 May 2026 and its result was declared on 12 October 2026. The next call letter is the PET/PST admit card, which comes from the nodal force CRPF, not from SSC. The result notice says only that the PET/PST will be conducted by the CAPFs in due course.

Is the SSC GD 2026 PET/PST admit card out?

Not yet. SSC's result write-up of 12 October 2026 states that PET/PST call letters will be issued by the Nodal CAPF, CRPF, and points candidates to rect.crpf.gov.in. Under para 13.7 of the GD 2026 notice, CRPF puts PET/PST admission certificates online about 2 weeks before the test.

• Who will get one: 15,782 women and 1,81,251 men shortlisted against State/UT vacancies, plus 375 men shortlisted against all-India SSF vacancies.
• Cannot download it: contact CRPF at least one week before the PET/PST. For non-receipt, the CRPF Recruitment Cell helpline is 011-26160255 (Special Selection Board (Cell), Recruitment Branch, East Block No. 7, R K Puram, New Delhi).
• At the ground: biometric verification comes first, then the PET and the PST (height, weight and chest as applicable).
• Ex-Servicemen do not run the PET but must attend for measurement of height, chest and weight.

Last cycle shows the timing. For GD 2025, CRPF's notice of 12 August 2025 opened the PET/PST e-admit card link for events from 20 August 2025, and candidates without a printed admit card were not permitted.

How the CBE admission certificate was issued in 2026

1. Week preference: from 15:00 on 11 April 2026 to 17:00 on 15 April 2026, candidates ranked four exam windows (27 April to 2 May, 4 to 9 May, 18 to 23 May and 25 to 30 May 2026).
2. City of exam: made live on 19 April 2026 in the designated login module on ssc.gov.in.
3. Admission Certificate: downloadable 02/03 days before the exam date from the same login, using your Registration Number and Password.

Two 2026 glitches are worth knowing. On 27 April 2026 SSC asked candidates scheduled on 28, 29 and 30 April to check that the barcode is printed at two separate locations on the e-Admission Certificate and to re-download it if either was missing. On 22 May 2026 the exam fixed for 28 May 2026 was moved to 27 May 2026 because of the change in the Id-u-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday.

What to check, and what to do if something is wrong

If you did not complete Aadhaar Based Authentication, check that the date of birth on the admission certificate matches your photo ID: a mismatch means you are not allowed to appear. For GD 2025 SSC turned it into an "Admission Certificate cum Commission Copy" retained at the centre, and the GD 2026 notice also advises keeping an additional admission certificate for reference. If your exam details are not on the website one week before the exam, para 13.5 of the notice requires you to contact SSC HQ immediately with proof of having submitted your application. Any letter must quote your Registration Number, registered email and mobile number, name, date of birth and the exam name.

SSC GD exam-day rules

• Candidates who have not done Aadhaar Based Authentication must report two (02) hours before the exam starts.
• They must also carry at least two recent passport-size colour photographs and an original photo ID with the date of birth as printed on the admission certificate: Voter ID, driving licence, PAN card, passport, employer ID card or Ex-serviceman Discharge Book.
• If the ID has no date of birth, bring an original proof such as the Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate.
• A mobile phone, even switched off, means 3 years' debarment; Bluetooth devices or spy cameras mean 7 years. Calculators and other electronic gadgets are not permitted.
