Jharkhand TET Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Each JHTET level is a single objective (OMR) paper of 150 marks, all multiple-choice, with no negative marking, over 2 hours 30 minutes. The question paper is set in Hindi and English, and language-subject questions appear in the language concerned. The difficulty of Level 1 is up to the Secondary (Matric) stage and of Level 2 up to the Higher Secondary (+2) stage.

Languages and syllabus
Language I and Language II are chosen at the application stage from the languages approved by the Council. The subject content follows the state-approved syllabus for the classes concerned. The full official JHTET 2026 syllabus is available as a free PDF below.
