Jharkhand TET Result
The JHTET 2026 result is published by the Jharkhand Academic Council on jac.jharkhand.gov.in / jactetonline.com. The OMR sheets are machine-evaluated; there is no re-evaluation or re-checking after the result is declared.
Qualifying marks
Each level is out of 150 marks. A candidate qualifies on scoring:
| Category | Minimum % | Marks (of 150) |
|---|---|---|
| General / EWS | 60% | 90 |
| Backward Class 1 / Backward Class 2 | 55% | 83 |
| SC / ST / PVTG / Differently-abled | 52% | 78 |
Certificate
Successful candidates are issued a JHTET qualifying certificate, whose validity is governed by the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test Rules, 2026. A candidate may sit the test more than once to improve the score.
Qualifying is not appointment
Qualifying JHTET does not by itself give any right to appointment. It is one of the eligibility conditions for teacher recruitment in Jharkhand; the particulars in the application, and the academic and training certificates, are verified at the time of appointment, and any false or incorrect information cancels the candidature even after the test is passed.
