The Karnataka TET (KARTET) 2025 result is out on sts.karnataka.gov.in/TET, and qualified candidates can print their eligibility certificates there, as the department announced on 13 January 2026. KARTET 2025 was held on 7 December 2025. No KARTET 2026 exam has been notified on the department website, so this is the latest result.
How to check the KARTET result
The TET Result-2025 page asks for your Application Number and Date of Birth, entered exactly as in the application. The page carries a disclaimer: results on the net are for immediate information and cannot be treated as original mark sheets. A separate link, "Download KARTET Eligibility Certificate (for qualified candidates only)", uses the same two details.
Who qualifies
General, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B candidates need at least 60%, and SC, ST, Category-1 and differently-abled candidates at least 55%. KARTET only establishes the minimum eligibility a teacher must have, and the notification states plainly that it is not a teacher recruitment exam.
Because the OMR answer sheets are machine-evaluated, there is no photocopy, re-evaluation or recount of the result, and the OMR sheets and records are kept for six months from the result date.
The eligibility certificate
- Qualified candidates get a computerised certificate with a security (QR) code; no printed marks card is issued.
- The notification promises the certificate on the department website within four weeks of the result. For KARTET 2025 the notice of 13 January 2026 confirmed the certificates were uploaded.
- The same link holds the certificates for every KARTET held from 2014 to 2025.
- The certificate is valid for the candidate's lifetime, and anyone may sit KARTET again to improve the score.
- The certificate applies to schools run by the government and local bodies, and to aided and unaided schools in Karnataka.
- The QR code printed on a certificate can be scanned to confirm it is genuine.
Errors on the certificate
Certificates are printed from the details entered in the application. A CAC circular of 16 January 2026 told TET-qualified candidates seeking a correction to name, parents' names, date of birth or category to send a request letter with, for each correction, supporting documents attested by a gazetted officer and ₹200 to the Joint Director, CAC Cell, by DD or NEFT, within one week of the circular; later requests were not to be considered. Information left out of the original application cannot be added afterwards.
How many pass
The department's KARTET-2024 notice gives a sense of scale: 90,299 candidates sat Paper 1 and 4,016 qualified (4.45%), while 1,55,167 sat Paper 2 and 10,600 qualified (6.83%). In all, 14,616 of 2,45,466 candidates qualified.
