UPTET Model Papers
UPTET model papers (also called sample papers) are full-length practice papers built on the latest UPTET exam pattern. Solving them is one of the most effective ways to prepare — you get familiar with the type and difficulty of the questions, learn to manage your time, and find the topics that need more revision before the actual exam.
Why solve UPTET model papers?
- Get used to the real exam pattern, section-wise weightage and level of difficulty.
- Build speed and accuracy by practising under timed, exam-like conditions.
- Find your weak areas early and revise them before the exam.
- Get comfortable with the computer-based test (CBT) format and the marking scheme.
UPTET exam pattern
UPTET has two papers of 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks each, to be attempted in 2 hours 30 minutes, with no negative marking. Paper I is for teaching classes I–V and Paper II for classes VI–VIII. Each paper tests Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and subject areas (Mathematics and Environmental Studies for Paper I; Mathematics & Science or Social Studies for Paper II).
How to use these UPTET model papers
- Attempt each paper in a single sitting with a timer, exactly like the real exam.
- Do not check the answers midway — complete the full paper first.
- Review your attempt and mark every question you got wrong or guessed.
- Revise those topics thoroughly, then move on to the next paper.
