TNPCB Recruitment 2020 Admit Card
Admit cards are released by the TNPCB as per schedule. The admit cards can be downloaded from the website of the Board when released. Candidates can expect the admit cards to be published before the date of the exam post the closure of the application window. The online examination is based on an objective type paper of 87.8 marks in total (87.8% of the total marks of the selection process). Furthermore, examination for the post of Assistant Engineer and Environmental Scientist is of 03 hours while for the posts of Junior Assistant and Typist is of 02 hours. Educational qualification

Assistant Engineer
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Chemical/ Environmental Engineering.
- In addition, candidates must also have a Master’s degree in Environmental/ Chemical Engineering or;
- Master of Technology degree in Environmental Science and Technology obtained from Anna University or;
- M. Tech in Petroleum Refining and Petrochemicals awarded by Anna University or;
- M.E. in Environmental Management awarded by Anna University
Environmental Scientist
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Science (M.Sc.) in any of the following subjects.

How to apply
To submit the applications online, applicants have to first register at the website of the TNPCB. Thereafter, the registered candidates can complete the application process as explained below.
Registration
Step 1: Visit the website of the TNPCB. The website is available at tnpcb.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on Direct Recruitment 2020 as shown in the image below.

Step 3: Click on “New User”. The tab can be found at the top right corner of the page.

Step 4: Check mark the declaration and click on “Continue” at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Enter all details and click on “Submit”.

Application form
Step 1: Visit the website of the TNPCB and click on “Direct Recruitment 2020” like before.

Step 2: Click on “Registered Candidate”. The tab is located at the top right corner of the page.

Step 3: Enter Username and Password generated during registration and click on “Sign In”.

Step 4: Complete the application form and make the payment as applicable.
Step 5: Generate a print out of the submitted application form.
Application fee
