UPPSC PCS 2019
The ratio in which the candidates are selected in the preliminary exam is 13 times the total no. of vacancies. The candidate who is selected for the personal interview will be twice the total no. of vacancies. Below is the schedule for all the important dates related to UPPSC PCS 2019 recruitment:

Answer Key of UPPSC PCS 2019
The answer key of the UPPSC PCS 2019 releases on the official website of UPPSC. The answer key will be in PDF format. The answer key is released for the preliminary exam only. The main exam is explanatory type hence no answer key is released for the main exam. The answer key is the list of all the correct answers for the question paper in the exam.
Candidates can use the answer key to know the marks that would be probably scored in the exam. The response sheet of all the candidates is evaluated as per the official answer key. Candidates must follow the marking scheme to use the answer key. For every wrong answer in the preliminary exam, 1/3rd marks are deducted from the total marks.
UPPSC PCS Admit Card 2019
The admit card for all the stages of the selection procedure are released separately. The candidates can use their registration no. and date of birth to download the admit card. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam centre without the admit card. The candidates can download the admit card from the official website only. Save the admit card till the last date of recruitment for the reference purpose. The exam centre will be notified to the candidate through the admit card only. The candidate may be notified about the release of the admit card through SMS or mail. There are instructions in the admit card that you must read before appearing in the exam.
The admit card contains information about the date, time and centre of the exam and the candidates can know the full address of the exam centre through the admit card only. The roll no. of the candidates in the preliminary and main exam will be the same. Candidates can use only BLACK BALLPOINT Pen to fill the OMR sheets.
Exam Pattern of UPPSC PCS 2019
You can know more about the UPPSC PCS 2019 exam through its exam pattern which is written below:
(i) Preliminary Exam:
Mode of Exam: The exam will be a pen-paper test that will include OMR sheets.
Language: The question paper will be bilingual i.e. in Hindi and English Language.
No. of Papers: There will be 2 papers: paper 1 and paper 2.
Duration: Each of the exams will be of 2 hours. The timings of paper-1 are 9.30 to 11.30 a.m. and for the Paper-2 are 2.30 to 4.30 p.m.
No. of Questions: There will be 100 to 50 questions in the question paper.
Type of Questions: The question paper will have objective type questions only.
Marking Scheme: There will be negative marking of 1/3rd marks of the total marks of the question paper.
Total Marks: There will be question paper of 200 marks for every paper.
(ii) Main Exam:
Mode of Exam: The paper will be a pen-paper test of 3 hours each.
Language: The question paper will be in Hindi and English.
Durations: The papers will be of 3 hours each.
Type of quetions: All the questions will be of descriptive essay type only.
Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for the wrong answers.

UPPSC PCS Application Form 2019
The application form for the UPPSC PCS 2019 releases in online mode only. You can fill the application form on the official website of UPPSC. The documents required to be uploaded in the application form are passport size photo and signature. Application form will be filled separately for the preliminary exam, for the main exam and for the personal interview. The candidates who filled wrong information in the application form will be debarred from any other exam for 5 years and such applications will be rejected as well. The candidates do not have the provision to correct or edit the application form.
The application fee can be filled in online as well as offline form also. Online processing fee of Rs. 25 will be added to the application fee. Below are the application fee based on the type of the exam and category of the candidate:

AGE LIMIT: The candidate must be between the age group of 21 to 40 years of age as on July 1, 2019.
Age Relaxation: The PwD candidate must not have been of age of 55 years as on July 1, 2019.

Result of UPPSC PCS 2019
The result will be announced in the PDF format only. It is a merit list of in which the name and roll no. of all the candidates who cleared the stage of the recruitment process will be listed. The candidates who clear the preliminary exam can fill the application form for the main exam. The candidates are shortlisted in a ratio of 13 times the total no. of vacancies. The merit list is released separately for all the stages of the selection process. The merit list for the main exam will be prepared as 2 times the total no. of vacancies. The merit list will be prepared only based on the marks scored by the candidates in the Paper-1 in the preliminary exam.
The candidates shortlisted after the interview round are finally selected for the recruitment. You can check the result for all the stages of process for the official website. The original documents will be verified in the personal interview round.
Cut-Off: The cut-off of the preliminary and main exam is decided to be 40% for all the candidates and 35% for the SC and ST candidates. However, the minimum qualifying marks of the Paper-2 of the preliminary exam is decided to 33% for all the candidates.
Selection Procedure of UPPSC PCS 2019
The selection procedure for the UPPSC PCS 2019 is given as following:
- Preliminary Exam: The preliminary exam consists of 2 papers of 200 marks each. The candidates will get 2 hours to solve the paper. Candidates will be selected in a ratio of 13 times of the total no. of vacancies. Candidates must have 33% or more marks to be considered for the merit list.
- Main Exam: The candidates who clear the main can fill the application form of the main exam. The main exam has 6 compulsory papers and 2 optional papers of the same subject. The main exam will be of 2 hours for compulsory subjects and 3 hours for the optional subject. The candidates will be selected in a ratio of 2 times the total no of vacancies for the physical test.
- Physical Test: In the physical exam, candidates will be checked for his qualifications. The candidate must be eligible as per the physical standards. The final merit list will be created after this round which will consist of all the recruited candidates.
