UPPCL AE Result 2019 -2020
The result for UPPCL AE is declared in the merit list format on the website, uppcl.org. Candidates can directly download their result PDF from the website. Names of only those candidates is provided on the merit list who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in both stages of selection.
After the declaration of result, selected candidates will be called for training sessions. The period to undergo the training program is decided by UPPCL. Once the training program is over, the candidate is considered for absorption as per UPPCL rules.

UPPCL AE Application Form 2019-2020
The application process for UPPCL AE is over. The application form was available on the website, uppcl.org. Candidates have to provide the details asked to fill the UPPCL AE application form 2019-2020. Follow the steps given below to fill the application form.
Step 1: Visit the UPPCL official website, uppcl.org.
Step 2: On the bottom of the page you will see a tab ‘Vacancy/Result’.
Step 3: After clicking on that tab, find the link to apply online for UPPCL AE 2019-2020.
Step 4: Now, a new page will open. A tab ‘New user registration for AE recruitment’ is on the right of the screen.
Step 5: You now have to register yourself by providing your personal and contact details.
Step 6: Login again with the user Id and password. Fill the application form by providing the complete details asked.
Step 7: Pay the application fee as per your category.
Step 8: Take a print out of your application form once completely done with the process.

UPPCL AE Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for UPPCL AE 2019-2020, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. Candidates have to produce the charatcter certificate issued from the head of last institue attended by the candidate. Check the educational qualifications required to apply for the post of assistant engineer (trainee) of E & M cadre and assistant engineer (trainee) of civil cadre.
Assistant Engineer (trainee) of E & M Cadre
To apply for the post of assistant engineer (trainee) candidates must have
- Sufficient knowledge of Hindi language in Devnagri script.
- For electrical engineering category: Electrical engineering degree or mixed discipline degree that is combined with electrical engineering.
- For electronics and telecommunication engineering category: Degree in communication engineering or electronics engineering or telecommunication engineering or mixed discipline degree combined with either telecommunication or electronics engineering or communication engineering.
- For computer science engineering category: Degree in information technology or computer science engineering or mixed degree discipline with either computer science engineering or information technology.
Assistant Engineer (trainee) of Civil Cadre
To apply for assistant engineer (trainee) of civil cadre, candidates must have
- Sufficient knowledge of Hindi language in Devnagri script.
- A civil engineering degree from University or institution established by law in Uttar pradesh or any other institution recognized by the state government or a degree or diploma equivalent as per state government.
- Be an associate member of the civil engineers institution (London).
Age limit for assistant engineer (trainee) both cadre
Minimum age requred to apply for both cadre is 21 years. Maximum age required to apply assistant engineer is 40 years as on January 01, 2019. Check the age relaxation as per the categories in the table below.

UPPCL AE Admit Card 2019-2020
Admit card for UPPCL is released online at UPPCL website, uppcl.org. To download the admit card, a candidate requires user ID and password. In case you have forgotten your password, you can retrieve it by providing your user ID. An email related to the information to reset password will be sent to your registered email address.
It is important to carry admit card to the examination centre along with 2 photographs and a ID proof issued by government. ID proof can be aadhar card, PAN card, voter caard, driving license, etc. Details which are present on the admit card as the name of the candidate, examination centre, post candidate has applied for.

UPPCL AE Answer Key 2019-2020
To maintain the transparency between the organisation and candidates, Electricity Service Commission releases the answer key. After two days of CBT, the Commission will release the answer key for the same. Candidates are allowed to raise objections online against the released answer key. Duration of 3 days is given to a candidate to raise an objection.
All the objections raised online are taken under consideration and the expert panel looks into the objections. After this process, candidates will be allowed to download the final answer key. This answer key will have all the correct answers. Also, the result is prepared on the basis of the final answer key only.
UPPCL AE 2019-2020 Selection Procedure
The selection for the post of assistant engineer (trainee) of civil cadre and E & M cadre is done in two stages which are
- Computer based test
- Personal interview
Computer based examination will be held in the cities mentioned above. There may be some changes in the examination centres due to insufficient candidates and other issues. To qualify for the second stage of selection procedure , candidates have to qualify the computer based test. Candidates who secures at least 30% marks in the CBT is selected for interview. After the interview round is conducted successfully, a merit list is prepared. On the basis of candidates’ performance in CBT and interview, merit list is prepared. If at any stage the candidate is found not eligible for the post then, the candidature is canceled.
