UPSC Application Form

UPSC Application Form 2019-2020 is released by Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in, upsconline.nic.in. Interested candidates can fill application form of UPSC 2019 by completing part 1 registration and then part 2 registration. Read notification from top to bottom first, then ensure eligibility, and only then proceed to apply. Candidates should fill all details in UPSC Online Registration 2019-2020, upload documents, and pay fee within deadline. Few UPSC application forms 2020 will have to be filled and submitted in the year 2019 only. Those who complete this step successfully can thereafter download admit card of UPSC 2019-2020 exam with generated registration number. All dates are as per calendar of UPSC 2019-2020. Any changes in dates are updated by UPSC at official websites. Candidates must stay in touch with official website so as to not miss out on any date. Also right now, only UPSC 2019 application forms are available. As soon as UPSC 2020 application forms become available, we will update them here.

Please note: There is an upper cap of number of candidates in every centre. UPSC fills them on first-come-first-serve basis. Therefore, candidates should apply early to get exam centre of their choice.

UPSC Application Fee 2019

Candidates must pay requisite fee amount during online registration. Like rest of the form, fee payment is also online. However in some cases, there is option to pay by cash. In pay by cash mode, candidates need to print system generated pay-in-slip and take it to SBI bank and pay fee in cash there with that slip.

Application fee for various exams are as follows.

IES 2019 Application Fee: Rs 200
Fee exempt: Female / SC / ST / PH
Mode: Depositing money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility.

CDS 2019 Application Fee: Rs 200
Fee exempt: Female / SC / ST
Mode: Depositing money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility.

CISF AC EX LDCE 2019

NDA 2019 Application Fee: Rs 100
Fee exempt:  SC / ST / Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs
Mode: Depositing money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility.

Civil Services 2019 Application Fee: Rs 100
Fee exempt: Female / SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability
Mode: Remitting money in any Branch of State Bank of India or by using Visa / Master / RuPay Credit / Debit Card or by using Internet Banking.

How to fill UPSC Online Registration 2019-2020?

As the name suggests, registration for UPSC 2019-2020 exams are online. The registration has to be done in two parts – Part I, and Part II. Here are the steps to follow.

  • First of all, go to upsc.gov.in.

  • At upsc.gov.in, you will see a section on the right side. In this section, click link on the link Apply Online.

  • This link will lead you to the Apply online page, where you need to click on the link “Online Application for Various Courses”.

  • On the this page various courses will appear, candidate can choose which ever course they are looking for and proceed further in the application process.

Part I Registration

Below we have provided an example:

  • Then Important Instructions to Fill Online Application Form opens up. Read all instructions carefully. In this step, you will see dimensions and specifications of photograph and signature required for your UPSC Online Registration 2019. Keep scanned documents ready before proceeding further.
  • Enter details asked in online registration: Personal Details (name, gender, DOB, father’s name, mother’s name, nationality, marital status, community); Educational Qualification; Address.
  • Check that all details are correct.
  • Submit it.
  • Now you have to proceed to Part II Registration. For this, go back to ongoing UPSC application forms 2019.

Part II Registration

Below we have provided an example:

  1. Click on Part II Registration.
  2. Login with registration ID and date of birth.
  3. Then fill up payment details, select exam centre, upload photograph, signature, photo identity card document and declaration.
  4. Check that all details are correct.
  5. Submit application form.

Online Request For Withdrawal Of Application For Various Examination Of UPSC

Now candidates can request withdrawal of their UPSC Application Form 2019. For every exam, a fixed timeline is provided in the notification. Candidates can visit https://upsconline.nic.in/ and click on ONLINE REQUEST FOR WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC link to access this facility.

Candidates can request withdrawal only for fully filled and submitted form.

Also, if someone had submitted multiple forms, then one with highest registration ID only can be withdrawn. Rest automatically stand cancelled.

Before going to request, candidates should check that they have access to the registered mobile number and email ID which they submitted in form. This is because they will get separate OTPs in registered mobile number as well as email ID. UPSC will accept application form withdrawal requests only after candidates enter OTPs that remain valid for 30 minutes.

Once request is accepted, candidates can print authenticated receipt. Please note that once application is withdrawn, it cannot be revived.

FEE REFUND IS NOT AVAILABLE EVEN AFTER FORM WITHDRAWAL!

Candidates will also get an auto-generated email and SMS at their registered email-id and mobile regarding withdrawal of application.

In case any candidate has not submitted the request for withdrawal of application he/she may contact UPSC on email-id: [email protected] immediately.
