UPTET 2017 Eligibility

The Examination Regulatory Authority, Allahabad Uttar Pradesh has set the eligibility criteria for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria to fill the application form of UPTET. Candidates must have completed the Graduation from a recognized University which is affiliated to UGC. Exam Pattern for UP Teacher Eligibility Test

There is prescribed exam pattern for the UP Teacher Eligibility Test 2017. Paper I will be held for the candidates who shall apply for the Primary teacher that is class I-V. The paper II is for the candidates who will apply for the Upper primary teacher that is class VI-VIII. All the questions in paper I and II will be multiple choice questions and each question will carry 1 mark. There will be no negative marking in the examination. Candidates will get 1 and half Hour individually for paper I and paper II. The exam pattern for both the papers is given below. Candidates must check the syllabus and accordingly start practicing for it.

Qualifying Marks in UPTET 2017

The candidates who shall appear in the UPTET 2017 must score the minimum score to qualify the test. The minimum marks that should be scored to qualify the examination is 60% or more in UPTET 2017. By scoring the qualifying marks, the candidates will be considered as TET pass. The Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided school management shall consider the TET scores in the recruitment process. Instructions to Apply for the UPTET 2017

The application form for the UPTET 2017 has been released on the August 25, 2017. Candidates interested in the examination need to fill the application form through online mode from the official website at The last date to apply online for the examination is September 13, 2017. An application fee should be submitted along with the application form of the UPTET 2017.

Application fee for the general and APW category candidates is Rs. 400/- Whereas candidates belonging to ST/SC category have to pay Rs. 200/- as a application fee.

The a fee can be paid through offline as well as online mode. It can be paid through the generation of e-challan from SBI bank or by using the Credit/ Debit card or by net banking.

In the application form of UPTET 2017 candidates need to fill the required information such as personal details, contact details, educational qualifications and other important information. Before filling the form application fee need to be submitted. Candidates have to take the printout of filled in application form and should retain it till the selection.

Admit card of UPTET 2017

The admit card of UPTET 2017 has been issued to only those candidates who will successfully submit the application form along with the application fee. The admit card is the key to the examination hall and must be carried on the day of examination. The admit card for the examination has been uploaded 15 days prior to the commencement of the test. The candidates were able to download it from the official website of UPTET at The applicants must have taken the printout of the admit card and should retain it till the selection. The admit card of UPTET shall contain the important information regarding the test such as date, time and centre of the examination. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the valid admit card.

UPTET 2017 Result

The UPTET 2017 result will be announced after the successful commencement of the examination. The candidates will be able to view the result from the official website of the UPTET after the declaration of the result. The candidates need to enter the roll number of the examination to check the result.Candidates must save it and should take a printout of it for the future use.
