How to check WBCS Result 2021?
In order to check the result for WBCS Examination 2021, candidates need to follow some simple steps that are provided as follows.
Step 1: Visit the official website wbpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Check for the available link for Preliminary Result 2021 and click on the same.
Step 3: Now a PDF for the result will open which will carry roll numbers and name of the shortlisted candidates.
Step 4: Press ctrl+F and search your roll number or name to check your result.
WBCS 2021 Selection Process
Selection of the candidates will be based on the performance of the candidates in the preliminary exam, main exam, personality test and medical examination.
First candidates have to appear in the Pre Examination. Candidates will be shortlisted after the Prelims for the Main examination.
After the successful conduction of preliminary examination. Qualified candidates have to appear for the main examination.
Candidates called for Personality Tests on the results of their Main Examination will be required to specify the order of their preference for the posts or services which they have applied. Choice of preference thus exercised will be deemed to be final and no alteration thereafter will be allowed.
Candidates who will be selected for appointment will have to go through the medical examination for the certificates of their fitness for Government service in the form prescribed for the purpose.
The names of the candidates called to Personality Test and those recommended for appointment will be published provisionally subject to the determination of eligibility of the candidates in all respects and verification of original certificates etc. If at any stage of such verification any candidate is found ineligible, his / her candidature/allotment will be canceled.
WBCS 2021 Cut off marks
Cut off marks are the qualifying criteria which will be determined by the conducting body. Candidates who will score marks more than or equal to cut off will be considered as qualified. About WBCS Examination
WBCS Examination is the exam which takes place filling the vacant position in various departments of Public Service Commission. The recruitment process consists of Written examination i.e preliminary and mains and after that a physical test. All the candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam will be able to appear in the mains exam and then shortlisted candidates will be called for physical test. The overall selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of all three stages of the exam. The preliminary exam will take place in offline mode and have to be completed in 2 hours 340 minutes.
