The Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Office of the Director General of Police has released the notification for the Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2017. The recruitment process will be conducted for the candidates seeking job opportunities for the post of Constable (GD) Civil POlice (Male/Female) and Constable (Band/Bugler) IRBN (only Male). Eligible candidates who are citizens of India can apply for the recruitment of the concerned posts through the official website i.e. arunpol.nic.in. As per the notification, there are 897 district-wise vacancies for the mentioned posts in the department of the Arunachal Pradesh Police. Selection Process – The selection process for the recruitment to the concerned posts will be based on the four stages i.e. Scrutiny of Documents, Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, Written Test and Interview.

Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2017 – Application Process
The eligible candidates are required to fill the application form by downloading it from the official website of Arunachal Pradesh Police i.e. arunpol.nic.in. The candidates can only fill one application form and if any candidate wants to apply for both the posts then he/she need to give the order of preference in the same application form. The duly filled application form can either be sent by post or in person at the prescribed address along with all the required documents. Candidates must keep this in mind no late applications will be accepted by the conducting body.
Eligibility Criteria for Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2017
The candidates applying for the concerned posts need to ensure that they are eligible as per the norms of the conducting body. The following are the eligibility criteria for the concerned posts as given below:
Nationality – The candidates must be a citizen of India. The APST candidates who are applying for a particular district must be a Permanent Residence of the concerned district.
Age Limit – The candidates applying for the concerned posts must be of following age as on January 1, 2017, as given below:
For Constable (GD) Civil Police (Male/Female) – 17 to 21 years
For Constable (Band/Bugler) IRBN (only Male) – 18 to 22 years
The APST candidates are given the relaxation of the upper limit to the maximum of 5 years.
Educational Qualification – The candidates must be passed in 10th Standard Examinations for the concerned posts and have also the knowledge of playing Band/Bugle in the case of the candidate applying for the post of Constable (Band/Bugler) IRBN (only Male).

Note – The candidates should be free from physical deformity like bow legs, knock knee, flat foot, crow foot, squint eye or any other physical or mental deformity. The candidates with such deformity/infirmity will be rejected during the physical standard test/medical examination.
Arunachal Pradesh Police Admit Card 2017
After the successful application process, the candidates will get the admit card in order to appear for the various stages of the selection process. The admit card will have to be downloaded from the official website of Arunachal Pradesh Police. The notification regarding the dates of the admit card will be notified to the candidates applied through email/SMS/police website also. The candidates will have to carry the admit card on the day of the examination as without it, they will not be allowed to appear at any stage of the selection process.
Exam Pattern
The candidates who will appear for the various stages of the selection process need to go through the exam pattern prescribed by the conducting body. The exam pattern for the concerned posts is as follows:
Scrutiny of Documents, Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test – It is being held for the shortlisted candidates whose application/documents are found in order in all respects. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the concerned stage. It shall be carried out at the venue: (a) For APST Candidates i.e. District Headquarters of the respective districts (b) For General Candidates i.e. PTC Banderdewa tentatively in the month of November 2017. The exam pattern for the Physical Efficiency test is as given in the table below:

Trade Test – The qualified candidates of the PST/PET who are applying for the post of Constable (Band/ Bugler) IRBN (Male) will be called for the trade test. The test will consist of total 100 marks.
Written Test – The qualified candidates of the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test will have to undergo the written test. It will be of objective type in OMR format. The distribution of marks for the following subjects are as follows:

Interview – The candidates who will qualify the written test with higher marks for the post of Constable (GD) Civil Police (Male/Female) and written/ trade test for the post of Constable (Band / Bugler) IRBN (Male will be called for Interview round. It will be held in order of merit obtained by the candidates at the ratio of 1:3 with respect to the vacancies. This round will carry 40 marks in total.
Arunachal Pradesh Police Result 2017
The result will be declared for the candidates appeared for the various stages of the selection process. It will be uploaded in the pdf format containing the list of the qualified candidates for each stage of the selection process. The final merit list will be prepared for the both the concerned posts separately on the basis of the total marks (out of 340) obtained by the candidates in all the stages of the selection process. On the basis of the overall marks and as per the available vacancies, the candidates will be recruited for the applied post.
Selection Process for Arunachal Pradesh Police Recruitment 2017
The selection process for the recruitment to the concerned posts will be based on the four stages i.e. Scrutiny of Documents, Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test, Trade Test, Written Test and Interview. The candidates applying for the post of Constable (Band/Bugler) IRBN (only Male) will have to qualify the PST/PET to be called for the trade test. The qualified candidates of the PST/PET will be called for the next stage of written examination in the various subjects. The candidates who will score higher marks in written test for the post of Constable GD Civil Police (Male/ Female) and written/ trade test for the post of Constable (Band/ Bugler) IRBN (Male) in order of merit will be called for viva voce at the ratio of 1:3 with respect to the vacancies. The final selection will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in all the stages of the selection process.
